John 17:23
23 I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me.

For a long long period of my life that never sunk in. I was blind to it.

Then one day it was like God got a bullet, engraved that verse on it and shot it right into my heart.

Wow God loves me as he has loved Jesus and as much.

If anyone here does not know this, it is the truth.
One that we need to accept and walk in.

*Isaiah 49: 14-15

But Zion said, “The Lord has forsaken me,
the Lord has forgotten me.”

Can a mother forget the baby at her breast
and have no compassion on the child she has borne?
Though she may forget,
I will not forget you!
See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands

"All that the Father gives me will come to me; And whosoever comes to me, I will in no way cast out" (John 6:37)

It stirs my heart every time I read it.

Me too
John 6:37-40
37 However, those the Father has given me will come to me, and I will never reject them.38 For I have come down from heaven to do the will of God who sent me, not to do my own will.39 And this is the will of God, that I should not lose even one of all those he has given me, but that I should raise them up at the last day.40 For it is my Father’s will that all who see his Son and believe in him should have eternal life. I will raise them up at the last day.”

Great verse you posted Budman.

Thanks Bill as I'm sure you might have guessed, just like last time when there was tension in the Not by works thread I made a thread, this time around I made this one so as somewhat of a break from getting heated, but also an interesting idea, just sharing what scriptures mean the most to each individual, and another way to rouse people to read the bible and think on what they remember of the bible.

Yes I did guess that and I'm thankful you have done this.
I think what is amazing is that hopefully we are going to hear Bible verses that we have never read. Hearing more of the word of God. B

I truly hope it's not hijacked.

I love the Isaiah passage, lucy. When we were in college i think (or a little later), a friend of my sister gave her a small carving of a person carved/kind of hugged on the palm of a hand, which was very touching for me.

I am sorry, notmyown.

There are others, but some Scripture very impt are John 14 2, with God's promise of mansions above (we have a simple house=) which is a preference here, but when there is no more sin and devaluation, what God has prepared for us above, whatever that is, would be the best)...

Also Matt. 6.21 about not storing riches on earth.

There are children's songs that i esp love to sing on these. Here's the second verse in song:
