She was married to Joseph, physically on Earth. There's a reason why we say "until death do us part". Both Mary and Joseph are not on this planet anymore. I thought that she was the spiritual wife of God... She was the mother of the Messiah, not the mother of God. God came before Jesus. That makes no sense.

God IS Jesus in human form, when He was on earth, so technically Mary WAS God's mother too. :)

God did not come before Jesus. God is Jesus. God consists of three entities, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Son is Jesus. He always was and always will be. Mary is not the spiritual wife of anyone, let alone God. She was the mother of the Messiah, you got that part correct.

This is not an example of "fallacy of equivocation". It is simple logic: If A equals B and B equals C, then A must equal C. You are trying to separate Christ's humanity from His divinity.
Wrong. You are trying to add something to Mary's identity.

Maybe not spiritual wife, but chosen. I'm sorry, I was raised Christian and just recently re-found my faith. Where in the bible does it mention the trinity, or three entities?

You were correct and worded it fine.

Many of the teachings of the Catholic Church are extra-Biblical, heretical and just plain wrong.

Among Catholics Biblical truth is often deemed heretical; because they believe their own heresy is truth.

Mary was indeed chosen, to be Jesus' mother. NOT God's spiritual wife..

You can type in your bible questions in a google search box. You will be directed to a bible web page. You can also specify what bible version you want to use also, such as King James, NIV, etc. There are many to chose from but all say the same thing.

Wrong. You are trying to add something to Mary's identity.
Mary's identity has been taught since the early days of the Church. Only since the protestant "reformers" have any christians considered Mary to be not the Mother of God.

Gregory the Wonderworker

"For Luke, in the inspired Gospel narratives, delivers a testimony not to Joseph only, but also to Mary, the Mother of God, and gives this account with reference to the very family and house of David" (Four Homilies 1 [A.D. 262]).

"It is our duty to present to God, like sacrifices, all the festivals and hymnal celebrations; and first of all, [the feast of] the Annunciation to the holy Mother of God, to wit, the salutation made to her by the angel, ‘Hail, full of grace!’" (ibid., 2).
Even Martin Luther

[She is the] highest woman and the noblest gem in Christianity after Christ . . . She is nobility, wisdom, and holiness personified. We can never honour her enough. Still honour and praise must be given to her in such a way as to injure neither Christ nor the Scriptures.
(Sermon, Christmas, 1531)

It's a compound truth, built from many verses. Here are a few...

There is one God:

Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is One.

The Father is God:
Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,

Colossians 1:3 We give thanks to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

Jesus is God:

John 8:56-59 "Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.” So the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?” Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am.” Therefore they picked up stones to throw at Him,

Titus 2:13 looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of [SUP][b][/SUP]our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus,

The Holy Spirit is God:

Matthew 28:19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit"

1 Corinthians 2:10-11 For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.

There are many more. I encourage you to do your own research; that's the best way to become convinced of this truth! :)

True, Its not from Scripture. But it doesn't have to be in order to be true.
Strictly, that is correct. However, when you are asserting a theological "truth" it must at least be consistent with Scripture. "Mary is the bride of the Holy Spirit" is not even remotely consistent with Scripture. It is purely the invention of the errant Catholic church.

I will give you fair warning: people who come here to promote Catholic teaching usually don't last a week. They get themselves banned for contravening the site rules. I suggest you read them.
