What do we do about those people outside and inside the church that Murder? Not many have gone this far as to actually kill someone but Jesus said if you hate your brother, or you hate someone, you have already murdered them.

Matthew 24:12
And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold.

Sin is and lawlessness is increasing just as Jesus said. How many of you have noticed how cold people are in church? we have big churches for those people - they can go to church, and they don't even have to talk to anyone. A simple face in the sea. Oh they might pick up a friend or two, but when they start lying, fornicating, adultery hating and murdering that person for whatever reason they can just pick up and get a new select friend, or even a new spouse. They can also lie about that friend pretty easily to make themselves appear more righteous - that's always good.

I am actually applying for a job for a Christian school where the previous teacher lied about her qualifications to actually do the job. We talk about people outside the church, with sin we don't particularly like, and make Christianity into some topical thing - where Abortion and Homosexuality become the only 2 things. While I am against both of these things, there is deep rooted hurt in each of these.
What about inside the church where people are hemorrhaging into Pornography, Adultery, being Liars, backbiters, and Gossips.

We say things like God is Holy and Hates sin - He hates YOUR sin - (Heb 12)your supposed to pursue peace with all men and the Holiness without which no one will see the Lord - SHUT UP and repent!

Mmm,

I can tell you not all churches are like the one you mentioned, I've been to some that act like your a member when you first step into the door with full of encouragement and welcoming. Whereas there are some that don't even acknowledge that your even there and fellowship seems dead. Don't know what church you go to brother, but heck it is far better to talk about the testimony about your freedom of sin than about that person next to you. It may even encourage one who struggles with it. But also sin must be addressed, but not directly at someone, but the world is exposed by the word of God.

And I don't meant peace for the sake of peace, I am not saying that you shouldn't be about the Gospel in their lives etc

Matthew 24:12
And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold.
The Law is love and those who wont take it to themselves to use risk this..

For me this pasage helped for me to evaluate myself andturn to Yahweh.

Revelation 22:12-15, "And behold, I come quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work will be. I am the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Blessed are those who keep His Laws, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For outside are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and worshipers of gods and everyone who professes to love, yet practices falsehood."

All of it, but especially this part, "who professes to love, yet practices falsehood."

This is not lying, its more like showing an outward love "act" but not actually being loving by Yahweh's standard, IMO.

A Godly congregation will display God's love............that has been my experience.........and those that display God's love, are in obedience to the Gospel of Jesus Christ........so...............works for me!
