I was hoping someone would give me their timeline beginning with, "From the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that makes desolate set up." Without answering the question of when was the daily sacrifice taken away? every other point of Daniel's prophesy is meaningless, and negotiable.

The great tribulation does not start when the daily sacrifice is abolished. It begins when the armed forces place the s abomination of desolation in Jerusalem. Its not going to take Jesus 1290 days to take control of the kingdom.

There are 1290 days between the daily sacrifice bring abolished and the daily sacrifice set in Jerusalem.

Ok,here is my timeline.

From the time the armed forces show up in Israel and abolish the daily sacrifice ,there will be 1290 days till the abomination of desolation is set up.

The 3.5 year persecution starts after the armed forces appear in Israel and abolish the daily sacrifice

Daniel 11:33-35
Wise leaders will give instruction to many, but these teachers will die by fire and sword, or they will be jailed and robbed.
During these persecutions, little help will arrive, and many who join them will not be sincere.
During these persecutions, little help will arrive, and many who join them will not be sincere.

The abomination of desolation is not placed in Jerusalem till after Jerusalem has been taken by the enemy Muslims in Daniel 11:40.It is placed in Jerusalem at this time in this verse. This is when there is great tribulation.

Daniel 12:1-2

And at that time Michael the great prince shall stand up, that stands over the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of tribulation, such tribulation as has not been from the time that there was a nation on the earth until that time: at that time thy people shall be delivered, even every one that is written in the book.

And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to reproach and everlasting shame.

By the time the United states starts to drop the abomination of desolation on all of the cities in the middle east,it won't take but a few weeks before they are all dead. The only people left will be those who have been resurected and those who have been saved.

You should probably try to understand Daniel 11 before you skip to Daniel 12.If you haven't been watching then you won't even know who's who.

Sorry, the daily sacrifice was taken away in 598 B.C., See 2 Chronicles 36:5-7. Without the ark and mercy seat, the high priest of Israel could not cleanse himself or the people of their sins on the holiest day of the year, Pentecost. And because he could not cleanse himself of his own sins, no other sacrifices throughout the year would be accepted by the Lord. No ark, no mercy seat, no eternal flame, no Levitical priest, no forgiveness of sins. All the Jews would have, is another fancy ceremony, one having no value whatsoever to the Lord.

Sorry, the daily sacrifice the Israelis are making is to moloch. Not God.
And yes,it is ongoing.

25 Have ye offered unto me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel?
26 But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves.
27 Therefore will I cause you to go into captivity beyond Damascus, saith the Lord, whose name is The God of hosts.

PS

The events from Daniel 11:31-Daniel 12:2 only take 3.5 years.

Daniel 12:6-7
One of them said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, “How long will it be before these astonishing things are fulfilled?”
The man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, lifted his right hand and his left hand toward heaven, and I heard him swear by him who lives forever, saying, “It will be for a time, times and half a time. When the power of the holy people has been finally broken, all these things will be completed.”

A time, times and a half is 3.5 years. Not 3.5 thousand years. You really need to pay attention to what is being said.
Donald Trump is about to e reelected.,you have about 5 years to figure this out.

Good morning Silohsfoal.
Okay, if I'm understanding you correctly, you're saying the Jews have had a daily sacrifice after the second temple was destroyed in 70 A.D.? If my question is correct, you will need to explain to me how they could have accomplished it without a Temple for the past 1900 years.

After the first Temple was destroyed in 586 B.C. by Nebuchadnezzar, there could no longer have been a daily sacrifice, not according to the instructions the Jews were given by the Lord on how it was to be done.

The Israelis don't make offerings to God.They are making sacrifices to the king they have chosen.
They give their sons and daughters to Moloch(the king)

When the king of the north gives the Israeli government his armed forces, then that sacrifice will be abolished.

3.5 years.Not 3.5 thousand years.

Daniel is speaking directly and specifically to the daily sacrifices of the Temple, not their offerings to Moloch; you will never convince me otherwise. He wrote chapters 11-12 in 559 B.C., the first year of Darius the Medi when the Temple stood, and the daily sacrifice was still offered.

Shilohsfoal, I agree that time and times and dividing of times point to 1260 days, or 3 1/2 years. It's also spoken of in the Book of Revelation.

My question is, from verse 10 in Daniel 12, "Many shall be purified, and made white, and (refined)," is this supposed to happen during the 3 1/2 years of Great tribulation when there will be a war so great, the Lord himself will have to stop it? And it appears billions, not millions, will die?

The numbers 1290 and 1335 do not add up to 3 1/2 years.

My objection is that everything I've read and studied is speculative concerning the two numbers, 1290 and 1335. They do not fit into a 1260-day teaching. They are two distinct and very specific periods, one separate from the other. They add up to 2625. The daily sacrifice of the Temple was taken away in 598 B.C. by Nebuchadnezzar, a year after Daniel wrote his prophecy, which was in the first year of Darius the Mede. Also, remember that when a sentence ends in a period, verse 10-11, it's a whole new thought.

598 minus 1290 = 692 A.D., the year the Dome was finished. 691 A.D. minus 1335 years brings us to 2027. When I look around at what's happening in the Middle East between the Arab nations and Israel, a war is coming very soon, a war that will make Hitler's war on the world look like a backyard fight between neighbors.

I understand where you're coming from and what you're saying, and I respect that, but for now, I have to stick with my numbers. I appreciate your comments.

Can anyone else tell me when they believe the daily sacrifice was taken away according to your timeline?

To answer your question, the great tribulation takes place after the 3.5 year persecution.
The great tribulation takes place the same time the united states armed forces destroy hundreds of millions of people in the middle east.

The persecution begins in Daniel 11:33 .
The great tribulation takes place in Daniel 12:1

Daniel 12:1
And at that time Michael the great prince shall stand up, that stands over the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of tribulation, such tribulation as has not been from the time that there was a nation on the earth until that time: at that time thy people shall be delivered, even every one that is written in the book.

When in doubt, I always refer to a Lexicon. Now I am not sure what you meant by "delivered." There appears to be nearly a dozen Hebrew words for delivered. The one in Daniel 12:1 is Strongs #4422. The following came from Gesenius Hebrew-Chaldee lexicon. and my 1837 Hebrew to English Lexicon.

Delivered means to escape, to slip away, to deliver from danger, to leave in haste, saved from death. "Everyone found in the book of life."

I suppose these are the Jews who are told to "Flee into the mountains" in Matthew 24:16. The only other's it can possibly be, are those who reject the mark of the beast and are beheaded but later raised to life and they will reign with Christ 1000 years, Revelation 20:4.

Try reading the following verse if you are wondering when the dead are raised.Daniel 12:2
It is at that time that then who were beheaded in Daniel 11:33-35 are raised from the dead.

Daniel 12:1-2

And at that time Michael the great prince shall stand up, that stands over the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of tribulation, such tribulation as has not been from the time that there was a nation on the earth until that time: at that time thy people shall be delivered, even every one that is written in the book

And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to reproach and everlasting shame.

The people fleeing in Mathew 24:16 are fleeing from Jesus and the resurected saints. The saints are with the Lord when the occupants of judea flee. The saints have been resurected as in Daniel 12:2.

Zechariah 14
5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

The occupants of judea are fleeing becsure they did not keep Gods judgements he commanded them to keep. Therefore they flee.

Deuteronomy 28
25 The Lord shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and flee seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.

To determine when the AoD is setup, it is 1335 days before Jesus Returns. So day 2520 minus 1335 days is day 1185 on the timeline.

Then count forward 1290 days to the day when the Sign of the Son of Man appears in heaven.... on day 2475. That will terrify the kings of the earth, and over the course of the next 45 days they will assemble their armies at Armageddon to prepare to make war on Jesus.

Next, go back to the day 1185 setup day and count forward 1335 days to day 2520, the Day of Jesus Return. Everyone who remains faithful to Jesus all thru that 1335 days will be blessed to reign and rule with Jesus.
