Why are the names of the twelve tribes of Israel upon the 12 gates of the New Jerusalem while the names of the twelve Apostles are upon the foundation wall of the New Jerusalem?

Twelve tribes of Israel represent the gateway to God. Israel elect among the nations to be the vessel through which the word of God and the Savior would come.

The apostles are built upon the foundation of Christ representing the church. New Jerusalem is the wedding of both together for Gods glory for eternity.

Gotta love symbolism.

The apostles are the foundation. GOD made the new covenant with them.

Consequently, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens of the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, Ephesians 2:19-20

I thought per pre-trib, which includes Darby's theories of Dispensationalism, Christ's Church is not part of Israel's restoration after Jesus' coming?

Yet there's the twelve names of Christ's Apostles on the foundation wall of the New Jerusalem city on earth, representing His Church.
