Psalm 105:4
We only need to keep our focus on God and never stray from His love. When things get heavy, remember that Christ our Lord is bigger than our problems. Psalm 105:4 “Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.” Whenever we feel lost, we should remember to realign our focus on Christ and His teachings.

Should Christ Be Our focus? By rights, He should be our focus. 1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Matthew 14

22And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away. 23And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone. 24But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary. 25And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. 26And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. 27But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. 28And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. 29And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. 30But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. 31And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? 32And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased. 33Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.

Peter was able to literally walk on water as long as he kept his focus upon Jesus. It was when his focus shifted from Jesus to the boisterous winds, and when fear gripped his heart, that he began to sink.

loved this read thanks brother and sister for taking time to share it !!!

“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

“What are some Bible verses about focusing on God?”

Consider how the concepts present Jesus to the believer what I mean is

see how this presents Jesus as the life sustaining sustenance man needs to survive ? Our food for eternal
Life ?

“This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.”
‭‭John‬ ‭6:58‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Or he is presented as the light in a world of darkness ? And following after him grants the light of life ?

“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. The Pharisees therefore said unto him, Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true.”
‭‭John‬ ‭8:12-13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Or like a shepherd who is followed after by his own beloved and important and valuable sheep . Those he protects and looks after them even giving his own life to save them from the wolves the shepherd is the most important to the sheep they follow and trust in thier shepherd because he loves and protects them and feeds them so they stick with him and follow

“And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep. I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.”
‭‭John‬ ‭10:4-5, 11-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.”
‭‭John‬ ‭10:27-28‬

These are all simple and understandable examples of concepts the gospel presents to a believer that makes them begin to understand “ Jesus really is my everything without him I will die , with him I will live “

My point is the whole Gospel is meant to focus us upon Jesus life death resurrection his teachings and examples
are designed to bring us to the type of faith your speaking of

letting him renew and change our hearts and minds through the principle of faith hearing the gospel and believing

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:17‬ ‭

And the gospel is this which we must hear and believe

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
‭‭John‬ ‭1:1-5, 9-10, 14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The doctrine in the gospel is better than anything else in scripture

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

no other man’s word has ever promised this even the law never promised that because the resurrection and life hadn’t come

My final example to illustrate my point how this concept is teaching us the importance of following after , focusing upon as if he is our lord , Jesus is this e ample again look how important this would make Jesus to someone who is willing to hear it and let it become thier belief

“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?”
‭‭John‬ ‭11:25-26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Often someone comes and says “ no let me interpret this for you you don’t get it ““

But what if we just started listening to Jesus doctrine in the gospel first and believing what he says and explains many times ?
