It's strange because my name means share of a meadow!
I've had several dreams in the past about being in a meadow or field,
some talking to Jesus, others being led by Jesus. Several where I have
been in a field under a shady tree etc.
Still others about flowers in a field or meadow. My current name seems to fit the current
me.
Does your current name seem to fit you in a spiritual sense.
I still wonder if there is something in our potential, something to do with names.
I have a friend called Wendy and we use to tease her calling her Wendy WOW!
Then a few years later she kept getting a word from God about women of worship
and warriors of worship. I can tell you she is both of these things.
Maybe Wendy Wow is her name in Christ.

After all, they are given by parents to a newborn (or unborn!) baby, and they can't know its personality.
Like someone said: "The idea of giving someone a name is strange. it is like asking "what sound should I make when I want your attention?"
I really like the idea of getting a new name when one reaches adulthood.
My first name is Norse and means something like God-beautiful / God is beautiful. (ás means god , frídr means beautiful)
My middle name means favour or grace
