"Outwardly", perhaps. Paul clearly states, in Galatians, that he successfully kept all the law. But, as Jesus showed us, "inwardly" we don't do such a good job, no matter how hard we want to.

All of the righteous deeds of the law are fulfilled in those who walk by the spirit (Romans 8:4)

So as a Christian and an honest citizen if you see money that does not belong to you, no one can turn it into the police or try to find the rightful owner?

Why read the bible or become a Christian at all if no one cant at least make an attempt to follow God?

Amen...no one can keep the law in it's fullest intent. Only Jesus has keep the Law...no one else and people that try to keep it now are nullifying the grace of Christ in their lives. Christians today live from the law of love, the law of the Spirit of life in Christ and the law of faith. Christ fulfilled all of the law for us so now we live by His faith and life in us.

The law had 4 purposes.

The purpose of the law was :

1) To reveal our sinful state. Rom 3:20

2) To inflame sin Rom 7:8

3) To minister death in us Rom 7:10-11

4) To lead us to Christ Gal 3:24

The law is good! But the purpose of the law was not for righteousness or salvation at all, it was to manifest sin in our lives, so that the purpose of grace which is in Jesus is to manifest salvation. Grace does not set aside the law, but completely satisfied it by Christ fulfilling it for us.

Col 2:13-15 is where in says that Christ "disarmed" satan having cancelled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us and He nailed it to the cross. Satan uses the law against us. Satan comes and says to you - you broke the law - you are condemned now according to the law. BUT our Lord took that punishment for breaking that law for us.

When Christ takes away the condemnation of the law which satan uses against when he accuses us - he is being "disarmed". If disarmed means anything - it means he did have a weapon but now he doesn't because of our Lord. How great is our salvation in Him!

If you walk by the Spirit you shall not fulfill the lusts of the flesh, some dont believe that.

Progress, not perfection. No one is totally without sin as far as i know. The question is, are we willing to seek God or not? Are we willing to go the distance for the cause of true love?

Here is a short video that explains grace verse law..this defines the true gospel and exposes Judaizers that come in afterward trying to get people to live by rules and laws and self-effort. It's anti-Christ in it's nature.

There is only one difference between the two verses,the leading of the Holy Spirit,and not allowing the Spirit to lead them.

Those who claim Christ,and allow the Spirit to lead them,will do what God requires of them,pleasing God,and show the characteristics of the Spirit,which then they are not under the law,which means that the law cannot touch them for prosecution.

Those who claim Christ,but do not allow the Spirit to lead them,wanting the flesh to be in control,will not please God,for they that are in the flesh cannot please God,and will not show the characteristics of the Spirit,so they are under the law,and the law can touch them for prosecution,and they are not doing the will of the Father.

Which the Bible says they have a form of godliness;but deny the power thereof,and are ever learning,and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth,and lovers of pleasures,more than lovers of God.

The Bible says those that name,the name of Christ,must depart from iniquity,but all people that claim Christ,do not do this,so to call upon the name of the Lord,is also to allow the Spirit to lead them,doing the will of the Father.

That is the difference,allowing the Spirit to lead them,and denying the Spirit to lead them,which the parable of the ten virgins is an example,that 5 made it in the resurrection,and 5 did not,because the 5 that made it,had oil in their vessels,with their lamps,which means they were led of the Spirit,with the Spirit teaching them the word of God,and 5 did not have the oil,for they denied the Spirit leading them.

All who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved,but that also means allowing the Spirit to lead them,and departing from iniquity,which all people do not do.

Lord means lord, not best friend

GOD's law is his will

Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Matthew 7:21

In Acts 22:16 it states that being baptized to wash away your sins is calling on the name of the Lord.

But there are those who truly love God and are bound by sin, they hate it and don't want to do it but yet they do ( Romans 7) the only answer to the problem is the cross and it why we must be constantly reminded of the work of the cross, because we get shifted and start placing our faith in other things like water baptism and speaking Hebrew or wearing prayer shawls or you name it, our flesh longs to earn what it can't and yearns to be it's own god. That's why we love law so much because it is what we do rather than what Christ did and yes if you are born again and knock the clothes off the rack at Walmart you will bend down and pick them up and place them back on the rack or if you drop some trash or attempt to throw it out the window the Holy Spirit will say no and you will keep it in your car and throw it away when you get home. When you deal with a rude person you will be polite and so on and so on. The law is in your heart.

Yeah and it also includes

For this is the will of God, [even] your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: 1 Thessalonians 4:3

And while we're at it, it also includes abstaining from these these things.

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?
