“Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!” At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds.
John 8:58-59

We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.

But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.
Heb 3:13

Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.

Thank you Peter.

I have been reconciled to God through his Son Jesus Christ.

Romans 5:10
For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

2 Corinthians 5:18
Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,

Colossians 1:21
And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled [SUP]22[/SUP]in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight—

But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is in danger of being cursed. In the end it will be burned.
Heb 6:8

By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?
Matt 7:16

And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
Micah 6:8

And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.
2 John 1:6

Now who can resist the gospel of love and sacrifice or speak against the cross, except
those who do not have love in their hearts.

In truth we choose how we interpret peoples contributions.

I just praise the Lord with my brothers and sisters in Christ, Amen.

It is only the enemy who would condemn and drag us down into the pit
denying our very birthright of faith and love through the cross.

So whose instrument will you be today, to the glory of God the Father or
the prince of the air?

Imagine someone comes to do a study of a group.
They describe each individual, their attitude and approach, and leave a report
behind with their findings.

Is such a description slander, insults, sin, or just how these people actually are?

Is holding a mirror up to someone condemning and judging them or just being a warning
before the actual judger of all appears?

Each person will only ever know the answer when they have a pure heart and walk in
righteousness, because only then do we have clear sight.

Davids response to the man who cursed him was this

David then said to Abishai and all his officials, “My son, my own flesh and blood, is trying to kill me. How much more, then, this Benjamite! Leave him alone; let him curse, for the Lord has told him to. 12 It may be that the Lord will look upon my misery and restore to me his covenant blessing instead of his curse today.”
2 Sam 16:11-12

So whatever people bring to our door, it is worthy of regard and thought.

But honest observations and realities are not evil and not intended to harm
but bring about blessing and good. Only the unwise regard this as insult,
slander and evil.

So I do regard what I am accused with seriously, but it is not a serious response
to anything, it is just poking in the dark and inventing shadows that are not there.
Good example that shows us God is not served by human hands in any way shape or form .He can move a unbeliever by working in them to both will and do His good pleasure just as easily as one who does have the faith of Christ .If he has begun the good work of salvation as with David he will finish it to the end in various ways, past our finding out..

Gospel of health and wealth? Never heard of it.

Heard of a doctrine of health and wealth which I know some people follow. and disagree with, But a Gospel? Never heard of it.

anyway, Why does it not make sense?

so the gospel of grace means that wealth and security and the world brings such pleasures the way christ looks alien and far off?? do what??

1. The gospel of grace has NOTHING to do with wealth, Unless you talk about the spiritual things with God gives us which makes us wealthy beying measure in a way the world can not offer.

2. security and pleasure makes God look alien> WHAT??

What? is this different than the gospel of grace? or is it the same, the way it is written makes it seem like it is a different gospel.

Other than that I agree, Peters faith does fit like a glove

Maybe it is you just do not know what gospel means or what it is?
See, I was nice enuff to answer you, & this is what I get.

So you can't refute what I said either, Just mock and attack? I showed you why it was confusing, And corrected a mistake you made..

Then Again, I guess I should not have expected much more.

It is a good example?

So if you go to a study group. and share you belief. And someone tries to explain to you what they think you believe and they are not even close in their explanation. And you try to help them understand.

Then they attack you, Say its your fault. Say you are judging them falsely. They have every right to tell you what they think you said, (the fact of it being right or wrong it is assumed does not matter)

and thats a good thing?

A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.
Luke 6:45

To some there are no good men.
Jesus says there are good men and they bring good things out of their hearts
to share.

Evil men though bring evil out of their hearts, hatred, bitterness, evil, lust,
greed, self indulgence, avarice, envy, sexual immorality.

Good men bring peace, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
self control, gentleness, meekness, perseverance.

Now who are we in Christ, and where are our hearts, purified or still a
fountain of problems and unresolved desires?

Now imagine this, someone saying there is no difference between the two,
in fact everyone is the same, and in Christ we are redeemed and going to
heaven and God just forgives us, we are what we are, just accept it.

What choice do you have when your heart is an untamed beast destroying
you every day. The closer one gets to religion, the worst it seems to appear,
odd that if religion is the solution to the problem?

Jesus said,
The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim
freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.
Luke 4:18-19

Maybe those who say they follow Jesus but do not experience this have
missed something along the way. The clue might be in their hearts.

Now who can resist the gospel of love and sacrifice or speak against the cross, except
those who do not have love in their hearts.
Those who are proud in heart.

The ones that lay again and again the foundation of repentance from dead works, as our own work of faith offered toward God, and not in respect to His work of faith, towards us.

Repentance is a work of God working in us to both will and do his good pleasure. God must do the first work of turning so that then we can .

For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. Heb 6:4

Once is all that is required to pay the one wage of sin, eternal separation..

Better things accompany salvation, called redemption. And not a kick start placing a person to where Adam and Eve were before they transgressed one violation.

Look you cant boot something that isnt there yet to boot lol :cool:

But i get your meaning.............
The free gift is mercy and forgiveness for past sins through repentance and the gift of reconciliation. (God RECEIVES the repented sinner if his heart is empty of guile and rebellion...This then palaces one within the New Covenant, of which has conditions. covenants are ALWAYS conditional, God NEVER breaks the covenant but man does...break the covenant and one is indeed booted out..This is found all over the old and new testemants

Love is having a godly fear and obedience to Him from the heart.. Solomon says this is our whole purpose of life.. Man does not accept/receive Jesus, but rather receives the engrafted word that can save his soul...The fact of the matter is that God accepts the repented sinner after he has come clean in repentance ...The preparation of the heart belongs to man (removing the guile and rebellion) then the answer is from the tongue of God, Proverbs 61-1....Then we become workers together with Him to achieve a relationship of love that can by no other means can be manifest...The gospel is worked by manifest reality, and not positional through proxy..

And this is great for discernment and self checking. I was just reminding for us to be cautious. When for all we know the Spirit may be working inside someone we judge.

I will again say that we can rightfully judge words, doctrine and theology without judging the person per se.....

Imagine....we can spilt the atom, genetically modify everything, fly, do brain surgery, go to the moon, and do what ever we imagine to do.....and yet.....the majority will end up in the lake of fire because they cannot understand the simplicity that is found in Jesus or willfully deny it and or reject it while interjecting self and works.......
