It is an odd thing to me that I don't hear what someone is saying.
I instead hear what I perceive them to be saying...
And we all hear in this same way.
It HAS to tie back to the Tower...
the dark tower? Do I need to get th gunslinger? Lol :p

Yeah, I was just joking. I did try cheez whiz when I was a kid. I think I remember that I might have liked it. Was joking - I don't use it in anything, especially not icing. ;)

No. Is just words on paper. And not a voice with inflections. I think that's the right word. :) Scripture however is life and spirit and has a pow to it. :)

I am not sure what it is, I had him on ignore for awhile, does he just answer that way with me, or with everyone?
something I have been thinking about for a while- people like you and me , and others, who are out front with our beliefs, answer questions with real answers, and are to-the-point. we do not play word games. the ones who play word games do not like this, and try to dis-credit our honesty. j.m.o.

I really liked those odd Dark Tower books. :)

I like Dean Koontz better, overall though. Not so much his earliest stuff, but his later stuff. I just like tales of good versus evil so much.

You are only evil if you don't give Dean Koontz a chance too. ;) He wrote a series about a fry cook in Pico Mundo California (don't bother with the movie) - it was the "Odd Thomas" series. You should try the first one and see if you like it. :)

i think there is a reason for that. but will try. Not to be judgmental and put everyone under the same group, not everyone may be fr that reason

Do you know, I have noticed in the last few years, with Stephen King, a sort of...softening or...I don't know, just something different going on with him.

Dean Koontz says he gets letters all the time from people who insist he must have recently found God because they would swear they can see it in his writing, and he says it surprises him because he has long had faith in God and has always written tales of good versus evil with good winning. :)

Just a thought.

Have you considered taking a typing course?

Given this day and age I am sure they do a 2 finger typing course, or opposable thumbs typing course.

This is an interesting statement.
If one was honest about ones faith and how others might see it that would be a good start.

It is easy to put forward ones perspective and interpretation of words.
Unfortunately this can hold within it self deception and various biases that can be difficult
to face.

Now only the speaker themselves can know how honest they are or are true to their beliefs.

What is illuminating is when people get aggressive about walking in the ways of Jesus and seeing
His light working in our hearts. It would lead me to believe that some are actually jealous and wish
they had a similar experience in their lives.

It reminds me of those who claim Jesus is without emotion but just facts. :)

God bless you wherever you are, but if you can love without emotion, I suspect you do not know
what love actually is.

The fact of the resurrection brings great joy and praise to my heart, never to be defeated in Christ
Jesus, unto the resurrection of the saints on that day when He returns, Amen, Hallelujah.

And how can love be a burden when in truth it is freedom from sin and pain, the healing of damaged
heart, and a reality that breaks through into the dark empty world in which we live in this place.

I appreciate your input. And sharing how you see the passage.

The way I read this passage is Paul saying when we desire to follow the Lord, even though we
struggle, have disappointments, often see things in the wrong way, for these people nothing
can separate us form the love of God in Christ.

So many here are saying they desired to follow Jesus but things emotionally went wrong,
disappointments came in and they literally left the church. They had assumed success without
issues or problems, and when they found things did not work out that way, they felt their whole
faith was lost.

What people forget is how we learn. We try something out and it goes wrong, so next time we
know how to get things right. It is often these disappointments and trials that prove the
commitment of the heart.

This is much more than it is impossible to lose faith or walk away, but the fact you have come
back shows the reality of the work Christ has done in your heart. Amen.

not really Cee

she makes things up about me and posts about me to others and you say nothing about that.

you are as much of a bully here as the others who joined in. I thought better of you but I guess you had to show your prejudice

nothing you wrote you cannot apply to yourself first BECAUSE you actually thought you had to mix in

you are simply a part of the other side of this debate

you certainly have not written the truth, but simply stood up for your friend who has lied about me and tried to get me banned by saying I was a banned person

you are taking sides in a personal matter. now go and send some pm's and make it better
You missed the point of my post.

But if you think people are bad for giving you feedback you might want to reconsider.

You can believe what you wish about me. I know my heart in the matter.

Its not about me taking sides, but giving feedback on a deeper pattern I'm seeing.

I did the same for Stephen and Fran as well. So no. I'm not taking sides between you and her.

I won't post anymore about it. I pray you seek God about it though. Just as I will about my own conduct you say is prejudiced.

Romans 8:38-39: "For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord"

I love the mention of "created things".... this would include us! Not even we are able to.
Again....for one to lose salvation or earn salvation or keep salvation by any means = Jesus is a complete failure.....

a. He begins and finishes our faith
b. He completes the good work he began
c. He will never leave or forsake us
d. He saves to the uttermost
e. We are kept by the POWER OF GOD
f. We are in the Father's hand
g. We are in the Son's hand
h. We are sealed by the Holy Spirit of GOD UNTO the day of redemption
I. By belief we are NOT condemned (judged)
j. We are saved by FAITH
k. We are justified by FAITH
l. We have the imputed righteousness of Christ void of works

and on and on and on........to say I can lose faith and be lost means Jesus is a failure, weak and untruthful.............and that is exactly what people say regardless of their denial when they say we can lose something that is ETERNAL, EVERLASTING and based upon the promises and POWER of GOD.
