You said this yesterday, it is just as faulty today as it was yesterday.

Your the one saying eternal life is DEPENDENT on a person to have the ability to continue to believe. Your placing onus on a person and his ability, not Gods ability to keep you in faith.

If we are saved by faith, Then the moment we have faith we are saved FOREVER,. If salvation can then be lost. It in reality must be earned.

You can not get away from that.
Amen.......I wonder what dictionary they are reading or if they are really educated.....how does eternal = temporary or everlasting = temporal

That’s why, if your not under GRACE then your under LAW. So if you do not except His commandments under GRACE then you are put under the LAW.
The commandments are the law

if keeping the commands are required. We are under law. Not under grace.

Grace says God knows we CAN'T keep the commands according to Gods requirement, So we will always be in need of salvation.

Yes, a true believer can lose their salvation.......by becoming an ex-believer. I've made this abundantly clear.

This is hard for the church to grasp because we have been indoctrinated to the point of deafness about this subject. No matter how many times I explain it, and in no matter how many ways, people in the church still can not hear any argument outside of their own argument that Christians can not lose their salvation.
More flipping Pancakes Pfart, so a believer can lose their salvation ....by becoming an ex-believer.

It is not God who keeps you eternally secure -- it is you and you good works that keep you secure.

Thank you I want no part of your false gospel and false Christ

Please disreguard my previous post

As a side note to your post; have you ever considered that the "Church", cannot hear your argument, "that a true born again believer can lose their eternal salvation" is because you are "wrong"; and that saying, "you must work to keep your salvation is wrong theology", And as another poster here has said; "Any good that we do is only because of what God has done."

What you have created is a gospel that will keep people in constant fear, and doubt, and insecurity. Your gospel has no "Good News", only the ever present possibility of doom and despair. Maybe that is why "The Church" is not listening to you, just maybe.

Titus1:2,3
"
in the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time, and which now at his appointed season he has brought to light through the preaching entrusted to me by the command of God our Savior,"

God will not lose one of his children and His promises are sure; yours are not.

Amen, it all goes together

1. If I do not have eternal life in hand, I have no hope
2. If I have no hope. I have no faith
3. If I have no faith, I do not have eternal life.

on the other hand

1. If I have faith, I have eternal life
2. If I have eternal lie, I have hope
3. as long as I have hope. I have faith.

That why faith will never fail

You can not resolve what Phart is saying with scripture period. It does not add up

THAT IS THE FALSE DOCTRINE OF A HERETIC PREACHER, because what appears to be losing his or her Salvation, IS ONLY PROVING THEY NEVER WERE SAVED IN THE FIRST PLACE. MANY FALSE PREACHERS, LOWER THE GOSPEL REQUIREMENTS FOR BECOMING A GENUINE BORN AGAIN BELIEVER, JUST TO COUNT MORE SCALPS. THEN WHEN SOME OF THOSE ALMOST BELIEVERS LEAVE, RATHER THAN ADMIT THAT HE TAUGHT A WATERED DOWN FALSE GOSPEL; HE POINTS A FINGER AND SAYS: "SEE THERE, THEY LOST THEIR SALVATION."

1 John 2:19 (NIV)
[SUP]19 [/SUP] They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us.

Lamentations 3:22 (HCSB)
[SUP]22 [/SUP] Because of the LORD’s faithful we do not perish, for His mercies never end.

John 10:28-30 (CSBBible)
[SUP]28 [/SUP] I give them
eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand.
[SUP]29 [/SUP] My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all. No one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand.

[SUP]30 [/SUP] I and the Father are one."

BIG OOPS: Some how I accidently deleted a word in the Lam. 3:22 quote. It should read as follows, SORRY:

Lamentations 3:22 (HCSB)

[SUP]22 [/SUP] Because of the LORD’s faithful love we do not perish, for His mercies never end.

Again, you're just using scriptures that when separated from the whole counsel of the Bible defend OSAS. Are you afraid of the scriptures that can not be true if OSAS is true and so that's why you ignore them?
NO, OSAS IS THE WAY THE LORD JESUS CHRIST TAUGHT THE TRUE GOSPEL. You have been under the infulence of a FALSE TEACHER FOR WAY TOO LONG, GET OUT OF THERE. FLEE TO A REAL BIBLE TEACHING CHURCH NOW. It is obvious that you have been taught an easy believism FALSE GOSPEL. Acknowledging who HE is and agreeing that the Stories about Jesus are True, DOES NOT MAKE THEM A GENUINE BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN. Even the 2000 DEMONS in the demoniacs at GADARA, believed that much.

Jeremiah 23:4 (NCV)
[SUP]4 [/SUP] I will place new leaders over my people, who will take care of them. And my people will not be afraid or terrified again, and none of them will be lost,“ says the LORD.

YOUR FALSE THEOLOGY ABOUT LOSING ONE'S SALVATION IMPLIES THAT GOD DID NOT ANSWER THE PRAYER OF JESUS FOR ALL TRUELY BORN AGAIN BELIEVERS:

John 17:12-26 (GWT)
[SUP]12 [/SUP] While I was with them, I kept them safe by the power of your name, the name that you gave me. I watched over them, and none of them, except one person, became lost. So Scripture came true.
[SUP]13 [/SUP] “But now, {Father,} I'm coming back to you. I say these things while I'm still in the world so that they will have the same joy that I have.
[SUP]14 [/SUP] I have given them your message. But the world has hated them because they don't belong to the world any more than I belong to the world.
[SUP]15 [/SUP] I'm not asking you to take them out of the world but to protect them from the evil one.
[SUP]16 [/SUP] They don't belong to the world any more than I belong to the world.
[SUP]17 [/SUP] “Use the truth to make them holy. Your words are truth.
[SUP]18 [/SUP] I have sent them into the world the same way you sent me into the world.
[SUP]19 [/SUP] I'm dedicating myself to this holy work I'm doing for them so that they, too, will use the truth to be holy.
[SUP]20 [/SUP] “I'm not praying only for them. I'm also praying for those who will believe in me through their message.
[SUP]21 [/SUP]
I pray that all of these people continue to have unity in the way that you, Father, are in me and I am in you. I pray that they may be united with us so that the world will believe that you have sent me.
[SUP]22 [/SUP] I have given them the glory that you gave me. I did this so that they are united in the same way we are.
[SUP]23 [/SUP] I am in them, and you are in me. So they are completely united. In this way the world knows that you have sent me and that you have loved them in the same way you have loved me.
[SUP]24 [/SUP] “Father, I want those you have given to me to be with me, to be where I am. I want them to see my glory, which you gave me because you loved me before the world was made.
[SUP]25 [/SUP] Righteous Father, the world didn't know you. Yet, I knew you, and these {disciples} have known that you sent me.
[SUP]26 [/SUP] I have made your name known to them, and I will make it known so that the love you have for me will be in them and I will be in them.”

THEREFORE IF JESUS LOSES EVEN ONE MORE THAN JUDAS, GOD REFUSED TO ANSWER THE PRAYER OF JESUS CHRIST. YOU ARE FOLLOWING A FALSE GOSPEL, JESUS CHRIST AND THE FATHER HIMSELF ARE JOINTLY HOLDING ON TO OUR SALVATION.

John 10:27-30 (NIV)
[SUP]27 [/SUP] My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.
[SUP]28 [/SUP] I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish;
no one can snatch them out of my hand.
[SUP]29 [/SUP] My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all;
no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand.
[SUP]30 [/SUP] I and the Father are one."

The eternal security of the believer cannot be reduced to a 4 letter acronym called OSAS. OSAS is an argument used by people like Phart who teach a counterfeit gospel that say's "you can lose," your eternal salvation. If you are a true born again believer you cannot lose your eternal salvation. To reduce the power of God's redemption to a 4 letter acronym is childish thinking. Phart would be a wiser man if he gave closer attention to God's power to save each believer for eternity.

Did God need our help by believing when He parted the Red Sea, "No"; Did God need our help by believing when the door closed on Noah's Ark and He brought everyone safely to dry land, "No"; Jonah did not believe God at all and yet God chose to save Jonah from the belly of a huge fish. And thus in Jonah2:9 he cries out to God; "Salvation is of the Lord."

Our God is Mighty to save and His promises are sure, your's are not.

  1. Romans 8:29-30, “For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the first-born among many brethren; 30 and whom He predestined, these He also called; and whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.”
Quote:
Yes, predestination is biblical. Predestination is the teaching that God has, from all eternity, freely determined whatsoever shall come to pass. We find this in Ephesians 1:11 which says, “also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will.” Notice Paul teaches that predestination occurs according to the purpose of God and that God works all things after His will. The "all things" means exactly that, all things.

Saving faith will never fail because Jesus is the power behind said faith....he begins, finishes and completes the work of faith he begins in all......!

then what was Jesus doing obeying the law?
Jesus was born lived and died under the law as a Jewish man which ratified the NEW COVENANT......and your point has zero bearing on us as men who cannot keep the whole law 24/7/365 days a year!

the Essenes of Qumran were writing new covenant theology at this time, they even called themselves a new covenant community, they still obeyed the law. James and the Nazarenes called themselves doers of the law.
