My yardstick is Christ.
What yardstick do the servants of sin use?

I don't think that for a second, as the "I" you reference has been killed, buried, and raised with Christ as a new creature, gendered by God, who doesn't bear evil fruit.

He wouldn't have allowed you to see/hear this message if He didn't love you.

You really do not understand that the works righteousness you preach is a false GOSPEL that CANNOT SAVE.

I will KEEP BELIEVING THAT JESUS DID IT ALL, and TOTALLY TRUSTING THAT HE WILL KEEP ME SAVED, AND CONTINUE TO MOLD ME INTO PERFECTLY FINISHED VESSEL HE CHOOSES ME TO BE.

SAVED, SURE OF IT, and I AM ALREADY A CITIZEN OF HEAVEN, and NONE OF IT CAN BE LOST.

Philippians 1:6 (HCSB)
[SUP]6 [/SUP] I am sure of this, that He who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

MY LORD GOD DOES IT ALL!

The funny thing is these lying sinless perfect heretics aren't going to wait for the glorification that comes only from God, they're going to glorify themselves now.

Whitefield had experiential knowledge with these lames, and exposed their sin after their sinless claim, much to the chagrin of the errant Wesley brothers who promoted this heresy.

Anyhow, God will allow these to remain deceived, or bring them out of their deception according to His own will.

Amen you got that right.......a vanilla twist, cafe blend cracker jack box dogma.....
Hi Decon, here are a few words of biblical wisdom concerning,

"vanilla twist, cafe blend cracker jack box dogma."

FALSE DOCTRINES AND FALSE TEACHERS:
By William S. Plumer

I. False teachers exercise much craftiness and deceitfulness in spreading false doctrines.
Peter said they should "secretly bring in damnable heresies." And Paul warns the Ephesians that they "no longer be little children, tossed by the waves and blown around by every wind of teaching, by human cunning with cleverness in the techniques of deceit" (Eph. 4:14).

II. False teachers are commonly boastful.
There was not a spark of genuine modesty about them. So in modern times, if base flattery will answer a purpose, it will be resorted to; yet when another course seems admissible, their mouths are filled with vain conceits They boast of converts never made, of charities never bestowed, of good never done, of works never accomplished. In this respect, they have a close resemblance to those pests of society—dealers in quack medicines.

III. The very same people at times display fierceness and bitterness. This uniform result is the fruit of unsanctified affections. In the days of Micah, the false prophets bore the same mark. "This is what the Lord says to you false prophets—"You are leading my people astray!", You promise peace for those who give you food, but you declare war on anyone who refuses to pay you." (Micah 3:5). Here is the whole story: They lead souls astray. That is their trade; They propose war against those who don't support them.

How shall we treat false teachers when they arise?

1. As soon as we discern their false teaching, it is our duty to refuse to hear them or to read their books. Never was more wholesome or beneficial advice given than that of Solomon: "Cease, my son, to hear the instruction that causes to err from the words of knowledge" (Prov. 19:27).

2. While the Scriptures call on us to feed the hungry and to be kind to the poor, they forbid us to hold such fellowship with false teachers, as implies sympathy with them or connivance at their wicked teachings. Thus the loving and blessed John says: "If someone comes to your meeting and does not teach the truth about Christ, don't invite him into your house or encourage him in any way.

3. False teachers must also be firmly and meekly resisted in all their attempts to lead men astray. When even Peter was betrayed into deception concerning false doctrines, Paul withstood him to the face, and rebuked him sharply. Jude "exhorted" his brethren "earnestly to contend for the faith once delivered to the saints" (verse 3).
There is such a thing as truth.

Truth is light. It makes manifest. It is one. It is harmonious. No truth contradicts any other truth. In truth are no jars, no discords, no contradictions. Like its Author, truth is simple, eternal, immutable. It came from God, who cannot lie, cannot deceive, cannot be mistaken, cannot be outsmarted. Truth is the opposite of fiction, fable, falsehood. One is from above; the other is from beneath.

The assertion you made was that John the Baptist told the people they were teaching false doctrines. I would like to see those verses if you can show them to me. I did not ask for what Jesus said in that regard. As to being faultless under the law, Paul says it is garbage, yes? Righteousness is counted to us through faith in the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ, and His resurrection to life. You add to the Scriptures.
AMEN and Paul also said that outwardly he was guiltless concerning the law.....and had to be reeducated by Jesus himself......!

Arent both sides saying the same thing in this debate i notice? One says if you are saved you will keep the commandments. Other says you must keep the commandments to be(or stay?) saved. End result is the same? Or is the issue on who you trust and glorify?
Not hardly...polar opposites....there is no commandment that leads to life.....and failing to keep the law does not result in the loss of salvation nor does it help keep salvation.....Galatians 1 and 3 states it is a false gospel with no power.

Yes Jesus did ask pick our cross, but it doesn’t just relate to crucifying the flesh. It also relates to would we be willing to die for him.

I never used Davis as an excuse to sin.
I merely pointed out that he did, yet God still loved him becuase when he realised he did sin he was on his knees before him.

Ans yes I totally agree with you in that what he saw in those days would be make me vomit as well.

Just as much as we see today the social pressure put on people to feel loved and accepted or do this to show that you love someone. It makes me vomit.

Have you ever questioned what the biggest cause of death today in the western culture is between the ages of 20 & 30 is?

Its suicide.

I seem to have offended you about what I have talked about David, that was not my intention but it’s an isssue for you.
I was trying to make the point that yes he sinned and got it wrong but God still loved him.

The same applies today.

I can’t imagine the horrors he went through, just like those who have served in wars over the last century.

There is no reason for disobedience full stop, but there is hope for us in our disobedience and that hope is in Jesus and him alone.
You never answered my question

it saddens me when I meet a man who doesn't want to serve Christ.
You can keep serving sin, but the outcome is rather bleak.
This just proves you cannot read and or understand English....it is also just another cake taking statement from one who embellishes and or accuses erroneously........

I'll respond with Paul's words..."What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?" (Rom 6: 1-3)
If you read a few more verses you will see where/when the "body has changed".
Excellent response that means nothing as applied to my statement.......here I will post it again so you can try another way to say your sinless....

Psalm 31:18,20 Let their lying lips be silenced, for with pride and contempt they speak arrogantly against the righteous. In the shelter of your presence you hide them from the intrigues of men; in your dwelling you keep them safe from accusing tongues.

Psalm 59:12 For the sins of their mouths, for the words of their lips, let them be caught in their pride. For the curses and lies they utter,

Proverbs 8:13 To fear the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech.

Proverbs 11:2-3 When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom. The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity.

Proverbs 13:10 pride only breeds quarrels, but wisdom is found in those who take advice.

Proverbs 16:18 pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.

Hebrews 4:12-13 For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

John 12:46-50 I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness. “As for the person who hears my words but does not keep them, I do not judge him. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save it. There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; that very word which I spoke will condemn him at the last day. For I did not speak of my own accord, but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and how to say it. I know that his command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say.”

More fluff.............like a tumble weed in New Mexico....

So DC... I agree none are sinless while in the flesh and are reborn incorruptable, but did you not tell me I was wrong for this exact things a day or two ago? Im asking, not accusing, Im asking, because I thought you said this.

Or sin and just not realize it was sin, because he has not studied enough about what all GOD considers sin?
Or fail in a moment of weakness....Like JESUS said....the spirit is indeed willing, BUT THE FLESH IS WEAK......any and all who claim to be sinless in the flesh have already sinned by lying.....

I could never speak of David the way you just did.
Scripture speaks of David that way.

Do you reject what Scripture says of him?

I never used Davis as an excuse to sin.
Funny how those sinless perfectionists cannot understand simple worldly things but expect us to believe they have a superior grasp of Spiritual things :p

DC maybe you missied my question, I do fully agree none are sinless while in the flesh as I stated the other day, and none will be 100% sinless until they reborn incorruptable, but did you not tell me I was wrong for this exact things a day or two ago? Im asking, not accusing, Im asking, because I thought you said this.

Nice twist bro....not what I said....

The spirit is born of incorruptable seed and does not sin <---why we are eternally secure in Christ

The spirit is still BOUND in a fallen dead body of sin until it is resurrected or changed. <--why we fail and sin

The battle ground is the mind and unless transformed by the renewing of the mind will fail and sin more often then not.

The spirit is indeed willing and the flesh is weak.

NO ONE IS SINLESS and the scriptures are clear

MY POSITION has been consistently the same from DAY ONE on this issue!

Where sin abounds, grace did much more abound <-----written to believers!

And the birth is at the moment of belief NOT WHEN THEY ARE RESURRECTED......WOW....!!!!!!!!!

Im asking, you are always accusing of mis deeds, possibly I misunderstood you the other day, that is why I asked the question again and you just poted the same response, when I saw you post this I wanted to ask. I have another question to clarify because I want to make sure Im understanding you;

When you say;

The spirit is still BOUND in a fallen dead body of sin until it is resurrected or changed. <--why we fail and sin
The spirit being reborn, Do you believe this has already happened, it happens when one believes, it happens atthe return of Yahshua, or some other time?
