Question VCO

Post # 3 has a picture of the gate to the city, is this right? I read something about the removal of an eagle emblem from a gate just recently, and was wondering if this was it?

Not sure what this has to do with the temple site or if at all, but it was in another thread. And Josephus is a hard read for me.

My God...and I don't mean that negatively...

Theres much evidence that it's the right site..

Why can they not get the Temple Institute to hear them? Embarrassment should not be an issue.

Have you sold ALL you have and given to the poor?
Have you kept every jot and tittle of the law 24/7/365 your whole life?
Have you actually trusted JESUS by faith?
FIRST OF ALL I'M NOT A RICH MAN, NEVER CLAIMED AND NBVER BEEN UNLIKE THOSE WHO EVEN BOAST OF THEIR LANDS, THEIR NUMEROUS TRIPS TO SOMEWHERE AND THEIR NOT YET THAT PROUD lol. I'VE NEVER BEEN SINLESS ALL MY LIFE, YET THE SPIRIT THAT LEADS ME GRIEVES WHEN I SIN SO I ALWAYS TRY TO OBEY HIM LIKE A REAL MARINE OFFICER WHO WERE TRAINED TO OBEY THEIR COMMANDER AND DISTINGUISH AUTHORITIES. YOU CALL US PERFECTIONIST AND THAT'S WHAT EVERYONE SHOULD BE AIMING AT, "PERFECTION":

2 Corinthians 7:1 Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, PERFECTING HOLINESS out of reverence for God.

2 Corinthians 13:8-9 For we cannot do anything against the truth, but only for the truth. We are glad whenever we are weak but you are strong; and our prayer is for your PERFECTION.

2 Corinthians 13:11 Final Greetings Finally, brothers, good-by. AIM FOR PERFECTION, listen to my appeal, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.

Philippians 3:12 Pressing on Toward the Goal Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.

Colossians 1:28-29 We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. To this end I labor, struggling with all his energy, which so powerfully works in me.

James 3:1-2 Taming the Tongue Not many of you should presume to be teachers, my brothers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly. We all stumble in many ways. If anyone is never at fault in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to keep his whole body in check.

I HOPE I HAVE MADE MYSELF CLEAR WITH THE HELP OF GOD'S TRUTH!WORD.

I AM NOT SINLESSLY PERFECT BUT I AIM FOR PERFECTION AFTER BEING WASHED CLEAN BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS AND BECOMING A SON OF GOD WHO MADE MAN ACCORDING TO THEIR IMAGE OF HOLINESS AND RIGHTEOUSNESS:

Ephesians 4:24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

I HAVE ANSWERED YOUR QUESTIONS I SUPPOSE, SO LET ME HEAR YOUR REPLY TO MY PREVIOUS QUESTIONS.

Can you see a difference between following the commandments and trying daily to obey, versus walking with Holy Spirit, fellowshipping daily with Him, and if He speaks to do, do?

Can you see that the nature where men had to have laws to control that nature for none are good, has been changed to a new nature? One that love of God is given to us when we are receive the Spirit of Christ? And we received that love freely not of any work, but of a repentant heart that knows we need someone and something greater that we had before?

Do you still work in a company or anywhere where there is a boss that you should follow or obey? Try looking back how desperately you were seeking for a job and how obedient and hardworking you were in the beginning just to get a hard-earned pay.

Not all men work only to get paid.

I admire and esteem volunteer workers moved by their passion and compassion and does not wait or expect for anything in return.

My God deserves better than just lip service.

New International Version 1984 Mark 7:6-13 He replied, “Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written: “‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.’ You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to the traditions of men.” And he said to them: “You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions! For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘Anyone who curses his father or mother must be put to death.’ But you say that if a man says to his father or mother: ‘Whatever help you might otherwise have received from me is Corban’ (that is, a gift devoted to God), then you no longer let him do anything for his father or mother. Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like that.”

i just realized it

everyone agrees that ur saved by believing the Gospel. but where the difference comes is that some of us say we are kept by the Holy Spirit and God's love enters our hearts to will and to do His good deeds.

but then the other side says that no u must do this and that to "stay saved" or u wont make it. so i feel like to them its kinda contradictory to say that u gotta just believe the Gospel to be saved and repent but then its not enough because u gotta do this and that to stay saved. well that means u never were saved to begin with, but instead u are just waiting to make it in the future if u live good enough.

New International Version 1984 Revelation 3:1-6 To the Church in Sardis “To the angel of the church in Sardis write: These are the words of him who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead. Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your deeds complete in the sight of my God. Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; obey it, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you. Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes. They will walk with me, dressed in white, for they are worthy. He who overcomes will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out his name from the book of life, but will acknowledge his name before my Father and his angels. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

what does perfect mean in the bible seohce?
It means complete or mature....it does not carry the modern usage and or implication of perfection.....

Notice his usage of the word perfect and how it is translated and what it means...

Finally, brethren, rejoice, be made complete, be comforted, be like-minded, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.

katartizó: to complete, prepare
Original Word: καταρτίζω
Part of Speech: Verb
Transliteration: katartizó
Phonetic Spelling: (kat-ar-tid'-zo)
Short Definition: I fit together, prepare
Definition: (a) I fit (join) together; met: I compact together, (b) act. and mid: I prepare, perfect, for his (its) full destination or use, bring into its proper condition (whether for the first time, or after a lapse

The contention has always been which gospel is pushed...we and the bible states

Saved by grace through faith void of any work or human merit-->any work or fruit is the result of the faith and salvation one already possesses in Christ

They say saved by faith and works or kept or maintained by works....a café latte blend which the bible does not teach

SAVED UNTO WORKS not SAVED BY WORKS......

1 John 5:2-3, "By this we know that we love the children of Yah, when we love Yah and guard His commands. For this is the love for Yah, that we guard His commands, and His commands are not heavy."

1 John 1:8-10, “If we say that we have no sin, we are misleading ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is trustworthy and righteous to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us.”

1 Yahanan /John 2:3-7, “And by this we know that we know Him, if we guard His commands. The one who says, “I know Him,” and does not guard His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever guards His Word, truly the love of Yah has been perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. The one who says he stays in Him ought himself also to walk, even as He walked. Beloved, I write no fresh command to you, but an old command which you have had from the beginning. The old command is the Word which you heard from the beginning.”

Deuteronomy 6:5, “And you shall love יהוה your Strength with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your might.”

Leviticus 19:18, ‘Do not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the children of your people. And you shall love your neighbour as yourself. I am יהוה.”

Mat 22:37-40, "Yahshua said to him: You must love YHWH your Father with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. (Deut 6:5) This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. (Lev 19:18) On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."
And the version for the Law KEEPERS....who don't really keep the law

AMAZING LAWS that I MUST KEEP
TO SAVE A WRETCH LIKE ME
TRY like HECK BUT I CANNOT KEEP
NOT ONE, NOT TWO or THREE...

LALAL LALLA LALLALA

How hard is it to understand

Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
Hebrews 10:16, "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says YHWH: I will put My Law into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them.”

1 John 5:2-3, "By this we know that we love the children of Yah, when we love Yah and guard His commands. For this is the love for Yah, that we guard His commands, and His commands are not heavy."

Revelation 15:3, “And they sing thesong of Mosheh the servant of יהוה, and the song of the Lamb, saying, “Great and marvelous are Your works, יהוה Strength Almighty! Righteous and true are Your ways, O Sovereign of the set-apart ones!”

what does perfect mean in the bible seohce?
New International Version 1984 1 Corinthians 2:10-16 but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man’s spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words. The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. The spiritual man makes judgments about all things, but he himself is not subject to any man’s judgment: “For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.
New International Version 1984 2 Timothy 2:14-19 A workman Approved by God Keep reminding them of these things. Warn them before God against quarreling about words; it is of no value, and only ruins those who listen. Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly. Their teaching will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus, who have wandered away from the truth. They say that the resurrection has already taken place, and they destroy the faith of some. Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.”

Titus 1:15-16 To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted. They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.

New International Version 1984 Jude 1:18-25 They said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.” These are the men who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the spirit. But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life. Be merciful to those who doubt; snatch others from the fire and save them; to others show mercy, mixed with fear—hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh. Doxology To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy— to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.

Dc seem to say anyone that believe in keeping the commandments is a "sinless perfectionist" when I have told Him I do sin at times, if you look at my post he posted after:

I said nothing about justification yet he responded as if I was claiming justificaion.

The law was designed to prove guilt and shut every man's mouth and it's job was to show us we cannot live up to God's standard and point us to the cure....the righteousness of Christ imputed without the law by faith...when the Heavenly Father looks at me he sees the righteousness of Christ..........

Post # 3 has a picture of the gate to the city, is this right? I read something about the removal of an eagle emblem from a gate just recently, and was wondering if this was it?

Not sure what this has to do with the temple site or if at all, but it was in another thread. And Josephus is a hard read for me.
You can post those question on that Third Temple News site, as I still check it. I will do a search to answer your question and post the results on the Third Temple News thread. What the narrator called a Torah Neesh, I think today is called the Torah Ark, which is a small closet behind a curtain for storing the Torah. It is supposed to pointing the way to Israel when the Congregation faces it, and apparently when close to Jerusalem in ancient Israel, it need to be placed in the Synagogue so that the Congregation faced the Temple Mount. Please post future questions there, so we do not highjack this thread.

See the table in this modern Synagogue, where the Torah was laided when reading from it. And behind it is the Torah Ark (closet) with a curtain.
