Because they have been deceived. They are deceived by those who teach such things.
But I also those who teach such things have also been deceived.
To them it's the truth.

Now I have to be honest here I do not think they are genuinely out to deceive.
I think they have a genuine desire to see people saved.
The majority are not or for personal gain

2 Peter 2:1-3

1 But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. 2 And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. 3 By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.

If a person is not out for personal gain then the issue is not to deceive but deception.

Let's be honest, how many of us have preached in the past what we thought was the truth but now realise it wasn't the truth?

Surgery should always be a last resort for anything. It has a danger factor that other methods don't have.

I was raised in a believing family. In fact my birth caused my parents to go to church and become Christians. They decided to change their lifestyle for my sake. I am thankful they were saved and made sure I became a Christian. I married a Christian and have raised my children to be Christian. That has been passed down to my grandchildren. So many lives changed because of my birth.

I the been l was having cordinination as the this lack of fundimentenal speech that I have been suffering through. I Pray for full recoverery, I still have are still have a little with big works. But is it working a lot be there now.

Well another day gone by....how many workers done enough to stay saved today......the answer...NONE...

In the grace you are (positioning)

Having been saved out of faith (the means and past tense)

and that NOT OF YOURSELVES (void of any human effort)

It is the gift of God (cannot be earned as a gift is free)

Not of works lest any man should boast (men have no right to brag or boast because it is not Of WORKS)

I chose that as my online name because doctors use an endoscope to look inside the body to visually see what is actually there. They make a tiny incision instead of making a large incision and lay open a large portion of skin. They also use it to perform surgery. They used it on me once to perform surgery for roux bypass surgery They made 4 small incisions. 1 for the endoscope, one for an air pump, and 2 for the surgical instruments. The air pump kept the skin away from the body so they could see the organs clearly.

So the implication of of my screen name means I try to look at more than the surface news of what is published. Normally more is hidden that changes the perspective.

Hi VCO, get well soon, my wife and I pray for you and family everyday -- recovery is a slow process. My high school friend and Viet Vet said after his stroke that its like starting all over, everyday is a new challenge. Everybody here is praying for you as well, and #1, Jesus is with you my friend, He is the Great Physician. A "Full Recovery", Soldier on my friend......:)

I have finally achieved perfection.

If anyone believes that I will sell you the Brooklyn Bridge and you can set up Toll booths to make back your money.

As ridiculous as that sounds it happened in the thirties. The con man had gotten letterhead paper of New York City offices. The man found out he had been conned when the police forced him to stop creating toll booths on the bridge.
