Nope, I'm not living my old life. Ralph, you have no idea what my old life was even, nor do you really care about that do you?

What point are you trying to make?
Plain as day....he, like the plenteous in number, desire to boast of his good works as evidence of his right to enter the kingdom.....oblivious to the fact that God does not say, "WHEN i see your works I will pass over you"

FAITH is what saves a man....the application of the blood of Christ eternally...........except a man be BORN AGAIN<----faith does this....not works

No, I'm challenging the church's doctrine that says a 'believer' can live in a homosexual relationship, be a drunkard, look at pornographic content, love the world, etc. and they can be saved because salvation is not by works, and once you are saved you can not lose your salvation.

I've been saying if you think that and live like that you show that you are not saved. John said it, not me. But for some reason the church has decided that he is wrong.

Thank you for coming right out and saying it! I mean that. Thank you!

The problem with this new grace doctrine is it makes John a liar. He said the person who lives in sin is not born again. Didn't you know this?

Nobody here teaches or believes the garbage in your post....your not challenging anything here especially using such a generic statements as "THE CHURCH"

And you can also forget your idiotic statement about "NEW GRACE DOCTRINE"......

NOW for all to see.....POST ONE (1) post by anyone stating verbatim that we can live a lifestyle of sin or be found a false accuser.....I for one am sick of your deceitful rigmarole.....the same lie Fran pushed......

Open your eyes, man. Abigail is saying it right now! Budman has also said it. And so have a couple others who don't post here anymore.
AGAIN...you flat twist what they said and are a liar pal.....they did not say ONE can live in SIN and YOUR question was about HAVING WORKS......quit conflating the two and LYING about what people say.

DOES NOT HAVE GOOD WORKS <--ABIGAIL

LIVE IN SIN <---YOUR accusation

A 1st grader can understand the difference and the fact that you are not being honest and saying she said something that SHE DID NOT SAY.....you must really be dense....

You can't have it both ways. That's why it's impossible to talk to you people. You say the person living in sin is not born again, then you turn right around and say some believers are still living in sin.
Obviously you either cannot read, partially read or have comprehension issues.......

Which "church" are you challenging? Not THE CHURCH, the body of Christ (Colossians 1:18,24). A 'believer" is not described as one who practices sin (1 John 3:9-10) and uses grace as a license to sin.

Once again Ralph, you lie. You lie about this over and over and over again. You would think by now you would have some shame, especially regarding what you demand of others.

READ THIS AND DON"T YOU EVER LIE ABOUT ME AGAIN: Grace is not a license to sin! We should live a life pleasing to the Lord, not out of obligation, but from a grateful heart. Where we differ is our works have nothing to do with salvation. That was settled at Calvary. Works justify us before men, and are the basis of rewards at the Judgment Seat of Christ - period!

We will continue to sin because we still have the "old man" to contend with - the old nature. But God, as any loving Father would, chastens His children. He corrects us - sometimes harshly. Even to the point of taking us home.

BUT WE CAN NEVER BE LOST!
AMEN...his deception blows my mind......asks about having works at the judgment to prove salvation and then turns around and states that she said we can live any way we want and in sin.....very, very deceptive and false.

Good point. We are fighting it constantly and God does correct. Did you know God disciplines the loved? <3
He does not believe that......even though it has been pointed out numerous times that a child of God that is eternally saved will be chastened by GOD if they fail to be obedient and or faithful and according to numerous scriptures will lose reward yet salvation is secure in Christ.......

Salvation is not probation. Eternal life is not temporary life. Jesus is the door. He is not a revolving door.

The bible is clear concerning believers.....where sin abounds grace did abound the more.......<---this alone proves that God deals with sin differently in believers....and the fact that God only whips CHILDREN and not BASTARDS.....the only sin NOT covered under the blood is a failure to acknowledge the work of CHRIST as from God and by the power of the Holy Spirit = unbelief into the work of Christ 10 to 1 I get accused of saying we can live in sin in this post by Ralph10

It is a one way highway with God. Now, if you have sinned you go the elders. Right? You know perfectly right who the elders are.

One mediator between God and men.....and he never takes a break..........and either he paid for my sins on the cross or he is being nailed to the cross every time we all sin.....I choose the former.....

Because se they can pray for you and anoint you with oil. Its biblical. Its for healing from sin.
I thought it had to do with physical healing, possibly some sicknesses that arise due to sin.

James 5:14-15
14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

Is that what you are saying?
