Luke 6:46 “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?

1 John 2:3-6 We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. The man who says, “i know Him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But if anyone obeys his word, God’s love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did.

1 John 3:21-24 Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we obey his commands and do what pleases him. And this is his command: to BELIEVE in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to LOVE one another as he commanded us. THOSE WHO OBEY HIS COMMANDS LIVE IN HIM, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.

Matthew 6:19-24 Treasures in Heaven “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness! “No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. YOU CANNOT SERVE BOTH GOD AND MONEY.

Matthew 19:16-26 Now a man came up to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?” “Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, obey the commandments.” “Which ones?” the man inquired. Jesus replied, “‘Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and mother,’ and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’” “All these I have kept,” the young man said. “What do I still lack?” Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth. Then Jesus said to his disciples, “I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?” Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but WITH God all things are possible.”

It never changed, Sunday is the beginning of the week and Saturday is the end, which is the seventh day. the day God rested.
Do Not Want To Debate It Here. IT IS OFF SUBJECT. So I will only this Much:

FOR WHOM was the Seventh Day Commanded? The answer lies in the SCRIPTURES.

Exodus 31:12-17 (NKJV)
[SUP]12 [/SUP] And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
[SUP]13 [/SUP] "Speak also to the children of Israel, saying: 'Surely My Sabbaths you shall keep, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the LORD who sanctifies you.
[SUP]14 [/SUP] You shall keep the Sabbath, therefore, for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it shall surely be put to death; for whoever does any work on it, that person shall be cut off from among his people.
[SUP]15 [/SUP] Work shall be done for six days, but the seventh is the Sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.
[SUP]16 [/SUP] Therefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant.
[SUP]17 [/SUP] It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel forever; for in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.' "

FURTHER PROOF THAT IT WAS AND IS FOR ISRAEL TO KEEP IT, IS THE TEMPERATURE IS WARM ENOUGH THAT YOU CAN GO FOR 24 HOURS WITH OUT HEAT:

Exodus 35:3 (ESV)

[SUP]3 [/SUP] You shall kindle no fire in all your dwelling places on the Sabbath day.”

DO IT HERE where temperatures can reach -15 below Fahrenheit , AND THIS WILL HAPPEN:

Thank you Dr Watson. We deduce the same thing:cool:

Now this may detract but it is relevant to the fact Jesus was born, lived and died under the law.

Why did he not condemn the adulteress woman?
Jesus did not come to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him......

To be saved we have to place our faith in Jesus who is the rock of our salvation.

It is then that Jesus does the building through the Holy Spirit who is in us. The Holy Spirit that Jesus promised would come when he went back to heaven in order to come to convict the world of its sin.
That sin being unbelief in him.

The Holy Spirit works to conform us to the image of Jesus.

The problem is, lay faulty foundations then we have a problem.

Who lays the foundation?
People like you and me and others here who teach what we feel the true foundation is meant to be.

There is a difference between wanting to keep in sinning and someone who has a pattern of sin but hates it but can't break free of it.

The response to both scenarios are totally different.

One who says "I can sin all I want and be forgiven" needs to told about about Romans 6

The other person we need to to come alongside and find out what is going on behind the scenes.
Luke 24:49 I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with POWER FROM ON HIGH.”

1 Corinthians 4:20 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.

Romans 13:14 Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the sinful nature.

Galatians 5:16-26 So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law. The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

Romans 12:9-21 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited. Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. On the contrary: “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

You are gossiping. Does that make you a wolf in sheep's clothing? It is so sad that you do not have a personal relationship with Jesus. If you did, perhaps you would not feel so driven to constantly lie about other people. You not only constantly lie about others, saying things like "nobody reads the Bible," but you misrepresent Scripture, saying things like it is breaking the law of God to worship on Sunday. I am afraid it is you who does not understand the good news.
Hello my purple friend.

Well none of that is true whatsoever. God's Word clearly tells us who is following God and who is not. You have accused me of lying?

Now what have I lied about my dear? Can you please post what you are accusing me of lying about?

If you cannot show me what I have lied about are you Judging me for something I have not done? If you are judgeing me for something I have not done then are you the one who is lying?

Where have I ever posted here or anywhere in all of CC that I have said " Nobody reads the bible? Now are you telling the truth here? If your not telling the truth are you the one who is indeed lying?

Where have I ever said that to worship God on Sunday is breaking God's LAW? If I have never said such things then are you indeed the one that is bearing false witness my friend and lying here to everyone?

If you cannot post any of your claims you have made here about me that your making then indeed you are the one who is judging and lying for all the world to see. Maybe this is something you need to pray about.

I will leave this between you and God for your consideration. No need to apologise to me, I have already forgiven you and left it between you and God.

SIN will keep all who practice it OUT of God's KINGDOM. Turn to the Lord while he may be found, call upon him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteousn man his thoughts and he will abundently parden.

...................

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has led many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

In times of ignorance God winks at but now ,<when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to REPENT (FOLLOW) (Acts 17:30-31).

Jesus is referring to those without imputed righteous
Jesus in that whole chapter (as well as most the chapter before and after) is specifically admonishing the acts of money lovers
and pharisees
if youre going by works or the law
this is truth
and when we are judged
we too will be judged like this
the question is wether or not you have the imputed righteousness of Jesus
(which is NOT BY works)
there are zero errors in the bible
it flows in perfect harmony if you rightly divide
Hi NNM,

So please bare with me. You appear to be saying, Jesus is saying it is ok not to forgive
people in His preaching because they were not believers with faith deemed as righteousness.

If you are a believer you can ignore forgiving others.

Do you know what you are saying and how hurts eat people from the inside out, a root of
bitterness that consumes their soul. I have seen someone go to their death like this, I know
it hollows them out so every conversation is about this hurt. Jesus is saying something very
simple, unless you are God who is righteous, loving Holy judge, as a sinner you have to walk
away clean and forgive others.

Now to start to excuse and think not forgiving others is ok, is to miss the whole point of the
cross and what Jesus is doing for us lost sinners in making us saints. Sadly until we have
let go of the pride of justifying hurt and revenge, what Jesus has done is reduced to something
insubstantial.

The parable of the unforgiving servant says it all.

Jesus mentions forgiveness lots of times. It is a major theme, one cannot ignore or excuse.
We have eternal life, joy, wholeness, oneness with Christ, what is anything anyone has done
against us in comparison?

So there you go folks, the new gospel. He who believes, and always forgives his brother shall never perish and have eternal life.

Thats a first for me, anyone else heard this stuff?

I bet my eternal life on the cross. And the promise of God himself.
No on the fact that I never commit a sin, If my eternal life is based on me being sinless. I have no hope.

lol.. Once the house is built it lasts forever. Twist it and turn it however you want, The foundation is christ. And it will never fail.

We work BECAUSE we are saved, not in order to BE SAVED, if there was ever a law which God could give us in which we could save ourselves. Don;t you think God would have done that instead of coming to earth to suffer that horrific death and humiliation?
[/QUOTE]

Remember these are the words of Jesus as recorded in the bible. I will forgive you for mocking me, but I can't speak for Jesus and the bible.

If this is a new gospel to you, to forgive your brother, then you really need to read all the words of Jesus in the bible more often and take those words into your heart and practice what it preaches. Unless you insist that you believe in Jesus and you are saved, and now you don't have to worry about the rest of his words.

Did I hear on another post that lots of Christians are ignorant of the fact that Jesus was born, raised, and died under the law of Moses and so his words are tainted somehow by that fact? That in fact Paul's words have superceeded Jesus's, per a revelation from Jesus himself. Wow, I had never heard this before.

So that person is telling me we can take the red letters of Jesus, and somehow decide which ones we follow and which ones we don't want to because they are tainted by the law of Moses. That is a pretty bold stance to take.

I bet my eternal life on the cross. And the promise of God himself.
No on the fact that I never commit a sin, If my eternal life is based on me being sinless. I have no hope.
That is a good bet. If you do commit sin, then you just have to repent, and Jesus will forgive you, so you should have plenty of room for hope. Don't give up on hope in Jesus.

Hi NNM,

Seems like you are still a little mixed up my friend. Some of what you have said is correct but some of what you have said is not true shows you do not understand Matthew 7:22-23. I wish to ask you a few honest questions and point some a few things out in your interpretation of Matthew 7 which may help.

Your interpretation is....

What is "UNBELIEF" ? If God asks you to do something and you say yes Lord but you do NOT do it, is that BELIEF OR UNBELIEF?

they trusted their works' not His sacrifice this is why their fruits show them boasting of what THEY did
Where does it say in God's Word that they trusted in their own works and not in Jesus? The scripture does not say this.

It only says that they BELIEVED they were following Christ and said to Jesus; v22 Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name? and in your name have cast out devils? and in your name done many wonderful works? It does not say that they trusted in these for salvation that is your interpretation of the scripture. I am also NOT saying that this is not correct either.
Some may have trusted in their own works some may not have.

The key scripture is v23 which gives the reason they were NOT accapted of Jesus. THEY DID NOT KNOW HIM BECAUSE THEY WERE PRACTICING SIN. They were decieved following another Jesus and another Gospel that teaches it is OK to SIN and still enter the KINGDOM of HEAVEN.

(never knew them.... NEVER.... these arent born again Christians so they will be judged by THEIR works not HIS imputed righteousness)
Once again this is correct however your application of what it means to be BORN again is not. The KEY scripture is once again v23 which is the reason these people were not accepted of God.

v23,
THEY DID NOT KNOW HIM BECAUSE THEY WERE PRACTICING SIN.

HOW DO YOU KNOW IF YOU KNOW GOD?

1 John 2
3,
And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4, He that said, I know him, and keeps not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

HOW DO WE KNOW IF WE ARE BORN AGAIN?

1 John 3

9, Whoever is born of God DOES NOT COMMIT SIN <breakikng God's LAW v4>; for his seed remains in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
10, In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whoever does not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loves not his brother.

I am in agreement with much of what you have said here. My application of these scripture is to point out that it is practicing KNOW SIN (breaking ANY of God's Commandments) that will keep ALL who practice it OUT of God's KINGDOM which you seem for some reason to disagree with.v23, THEY DID NOT KNOW HIM BECAUSE THEY WERE PRACTICING SIN.

God's Word says these people did NOT KNOW GOD because they were BREAKING God's Commandments. They were practicing SIN.

They were hearers of the WORD but NOT DOERS of the WORD DECEIVING themselves that they where Christians.

James 1
22
But be you doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. SIN is breaking God's Commandments (1 John 3:4; Romans 7:7; James 2:9-11). SIN will keep all those who KNOWINGLY break ANY of God's Commandments it OUT of GOD'S KINGDOM.

john 6
27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.
28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
What you do not seem to understand is what it means to BELIEVE in CHRIST or the WORD of GOD.

If God's WORD asks you to take up your cross and FOLLOW Jesus and you do not take up your cross and follow Jesus are you a BELIEVER or an UNBELIEVER? It is written the devils BELIEVE but they will not enter the KINGDOM of HEAVEN. WHY? Because they do NOT Follow.

If you really BELIEVE God's WORD or in Christ you will FOLLOW what he says once you have REPENTED from your SINS and BELIEVE his WORD you are expected to FOLLOW.

James 1
22 But be you doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Matthew 21
28,
But what think you? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard.
29, He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went.
30, And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not.
31, Whether of them two did the will of his father? They say to him, The first. Jesus said to them, Truly I say to you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.

..............

I cannot imagine that the apostles of the Lord would make a unilateral executive decision to move the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday (the Lords Day) without the express OK from the Lord himself.

I have always believed that as the New Testament was established among the new Christians, the old Saturday Sabbath was changed to the new Lords Day (the day that Jesus was resurrected). So, OT=Saturday Sabbath, NT=Sunday Sabbath.

The Sabbath has not been abolished, (many good Christians think the Sabbath was abolished, like circumcision) but we are still commanded to worship on the Sabbath, only it has been changed from Saturday to Sunday, in honor of the Lords Day.
Hello ben,

Could you please show me the scripture that says Sunday is the "LORDS DAY"?

God's Word says that the Sabbath is the "LORDS DAY" not Sunday.

Matthew 12:8
8,
For THE SON OF MAN IS LORD EVEN OF THE SABBATH DAY.

...................

To be honest I don't on the whole think people are glorifying themselves.

The only ones I never seen do this are those who say they not sin and those who say they if they do then they are not knowingly sinning therefore not held accountable.

The truth is sin is sin, whether knowingly or not.

There's no excuse. Sins of commission and ommision are the same.
Jesus made that perfectly clear, along with "you may not do it but if you think it then you are just as guilty as doing it"

Let's be honest.
We as genuine believers seek to be like Jesus.
Why?

Because he has asked us to be.
We seek to be Holy just like he is.

Why?

Because he loves us and we love him.

So everything we seek to be is as a result of love.

If we do it to be loved then the focus is so wrong.
That leads to works orientated bias.

If the focus is wrong then the foundation is wrong.

People I just ask.

What does God want from us?

Relationship or works.

Or relationship that leads to works?

Relationship will release us to be like him.
Working to establish the relationship will not.

Because established the relationship through Jesus.
A relationship example;

A master and a servant,

Luke 6:46 “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?

Matthew 25:14-46 The Parable of the Talents “Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his property to them. To one he gave five talents of money, to another two talents, and to another one talent, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey. The man who had received the five talents went at once and put his money to work and gained five more. So also, the one with the two talents gained two more. But the man who had received the one talent went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money. “After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them. The man who had received the five talents brought the other five. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with five talents. See, I have gained five more.’ “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ “The man with the two talents also came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with two talents; see, I have gained two more.’ “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ “Then the man who had received the one talent came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed. So I was afraid and went out and hid your talent in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.’ “His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest. “‘Take the talent from him and give it to the one who has the ten talents. For everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ The Sheep and the Goats “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ “The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’ “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’ “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’ “He will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’ “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

So you do not know what it is about, but you construct an imaginary, fictional story all about it, and decide it is true? That is funny in a pathetic very ironic sort of way...
Greetings Magenta,

What are you talking about?
I know you imply a something, but there is nothing there.
If a person quotes scripture, that is all they are quoting. If the words say be Holy,
guess what, it means it.

I realise like never before your own self condemnation and lack of experience convince
you Paul, Peter and Jesus did not mean this.

John simply says this
"Let him who does wrong continue to do wrong; let him who is vile continue to be vile; let him who does right continue to do right; and let him who is holy continue to be holy."
Revelation 22:11

In the belief system where this is impossible, it must be let the self righteous
continue to be deluded into themselves being Holy, except it does not say
this. But then a person who lives in a world of lepers, and no one is cured,
it is delusion to claim you no longer suffer from being a leper.

So bad is this conviction to actually preach from the bible is blasphemy and
lying and evil. Does it not occur to anyone, they could actually be wrong,
and the Lord is capable of fulfilling His promise to cleanse and purify His people
like the apostles claimed and walked in.

Until you begin to walk and read with the eyes of faith, you dare not read such
a thing.

It is not me saying it, it is Jesus. If you can't forgive a man his trespass against you, it may be a sign of other problems that you possess, and therefore your heavenly Father will finally not forgive you of your trespasses against Him. Jesus didn't say that if you forgive everyone but 1, your Father will forgive you. So you take the words of Jesus as they are read in the bible, OR NOT. That is your risk.
In the Scriptures I read, Jesus said there is only one unforgivable sin.

THE FIRST LIE IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN IS THE FALSE GOSPEL

Let's start at John and at the beginning of Genesis 3 (this may be too long a study but let's try and make it shorter there are a lot of conencting scripture which I may add a few here only)

Let's start here with the father of lies......

John 8
44,
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: FOR HE IS A LIAR AND THE FATHER OF IT.

The Devil is the Father of LIES those that do not FOLLOW God follow their Father the devil and the deeds of their father they will do.

1 John 2
3, And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4, He that saith, I KNOW HIM, and KEEPS NOT HIS COMMANDMENTS, is a LIAR, AND THE TRUTH IS NOT IN HIM

links to...........

1 John 3
4,
Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
5, And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
6, Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
7, Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
8, He that committeth sin is of the devil; (the father of lies and the deeds of their father they will do; John 8:44)

The father of lies from the begining. Let's go to the beginning will look at separate meanings and types....

Genesis 3
1,
Now the SEPENT <Satan Rev 12:9> was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the WOMEN <Church good or bad; Jeremiah 6:2; 2 Corinthians 11:2; Ephesians 5:23-27; Isaiah 1:21-27; Jeremiah 3:1-3; 6-9; Ezk 16:15-58; 23:2-21; Hos. 2:5; 3:1; Rev. 14:4>, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

2, And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the FRUIT of the trees of the garden: <FRUIT of OBEDIENCE (James 2:18; 20; 26; Matthew 7:12-23; Jon 15:1-10)

3, But of the FRUIT of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, LEST YOU DIE <God's LAW; represents God's 10 commandments which gives the KNOWLEDGE of SIN and RIGHTEUSNESS; Good and Evil; Romans 3:20; 7:7; James 2:11; 1 John 3:4; Ps 119:172; but makes nothing perfect>.

4, And the serpent said unto the woman, YOU SHALL NOT SURELY DIE:< The first LIE from the beginning; John 8:44)

5, For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, KNOWING GOOD AND EVIL. < Prior to DISOBEYING God Mankind DID NOT KNOW what EVIL (SIN) was because they were in HARMONY and OBEDIENT to God's WORD>

6, And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

7, And THE EYES OF THEM WERE OPENED, AND THEY KNEW THAT THEY WERE NAKED; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. <God's LAW is the KNOWLEDGE of SIN and RIGHTEOUSNESS; When they SINNED they now had the KNOWLEDGE of both GOOD and EVIL; Romans 3:20; 7:7; James 2:11; 1 John 3:4; Ps 119:172;>

The saw that they were naked and tried to cover themselves with figleaves; SIN took away their RIGHTEOUSNESS and now they are guilty before God in SIN; NAKED before God in SIN trying to cover themselves with figleaves (flithy rags) Isaiah 63:6; Righteousness to cover our nakedness only from God; Luke 15:22; If we SIN we lose it; Romans 3:19 >

8, And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

9, And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
10, And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
11, And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?

Key points and putting it all together..........

The Serpent and father of LIES is the Devil he lied to MANKIND from the beginning. God's Commandment to Adam and Eve was NOT to eat of the KNOWLEDGE of GOOD and EVIL (SIN AND RIGHTESOUNESS) lest you DIE. Adam and Eve did not have the KNOWLEDGE of GOOD and EVIL (SIN AND RIGHTESOUNESS) because they had NEVER SINNED and where in HARMONY with God in OBEDIENCE to HIS WORD.

THE TREE OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL REPRESENTS GOD's Commandments. The TAKING THE FRUIT symbolizes BREAKING the TREE and DISOBEYING God's Commandment NOT TO EAT the FRUIT lest you DIE is UNBELIEF in God's WORD.

THIS IS A WARNING FOR US TODAY. THE same LIE told to ADAM and EVE is being repeated in the mainstream Churches of today.

SIN is the transgression of GOD'S LAW and if anyone CONTINUES in KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN; God's WORD says they will DIE and not ENTER THE KINGDOM of HEAVEN because they have rejected the GIFT of God's dear son (Romans 6:23; Hebrews 10:26-27; 6:4-8; Matthew 7:12-23)

It is only by partaking of the TREE of LIFE (BELIEVING AND FOLLOWING God's Word by LOVE) through FAITH that Gods FRUITS of OBEDIENCE are seen in the life of God's true people (1 John 3:3-10; Revelation 12:17; 14:12; 22:14) and is why Jesus says if you LOVE me keep my commandments ( John 14:15; 15:10)

..................

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin and eating of the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil when God has asked us not to eat of it (Genesis 3: 1-11; James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

In times of ignorance God winks at but now calls all men every where to REPENT for the KINGDOM of HEAVEN is at HAND (Acts 17:30-31)

I already told you. Are you daft? Saying that nobody reads the Bible is a LIE. Telling us that worshiping God on Sunday is breaking the law is a LIE. No wonder people do not want to talk to you!
I see you you cannot post one thing you are accusing me of that I have not done. You my purple friend are indeed lying this is a shamed to you.

No my purple friend the shame is on you I am indeed denying those things you have accused me of saying that I have not done.

If you believe I have then post your proof. If you cannot then you are indeed lying and this is a shame on you indeed as all the world can see your shame as God does.

Your post again...

I am afraid it is you who does not understand the good news
You are indeed lying.
