there is nothing to compare our Lord to ....what shall keep his love from us ....nothing. what can prevail against our God ....nothing. what can wash these sins away...nothing but the blood of Jesus. What can make us whole again....nothing but the blood of Jesus. What shall stop the word of the Lord....nothing. what is mightier than the Lord....nothing. what is wiser than the Lord....nothing. what can snatch us from his hand....nothing. what could keep him in the grave..nothing.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth showing that nothing is something in the hands of the Lord.

Kudos again to the person who made me want to figure out the OP. So...

When you're used to having nothing, nothing becomes your everything, and you never really want for anything. But it's a double-edged sword, because there's the danger of becoming complacent, becoming too happy with that nothing, because you've never known anything better. Complacency is the death of dreams, and freedom.”

Potter's clay?
I think your name says it all.
Not that you alone are nothing...but in HIS HANDS we are something

Hey, thanks for starting this thread,

It gave me something to think about.

The far reaches of the outer universe,

Now that is something! .......Or is it nothing?

Amen to that saint...perspective should be the first line of business in your walk with Christ. We are the clay he is the potter so does the clay tell the potter what it should be? Who is wise enough to counsel God? And he is faithful to complete the good work he started.

Who but our God can make something out of nothing....he needs no help but by his grace and love that is everlasting he has included us in to his workmanship. He is not man that he should fail but by the truth of his word all that is spoken shall come to pass.

There is nothing to compare our God to....he alone is worthy of all praise...he alone is holy....for he alone is the beginning and the end besides him there is nothing...

God speaks of things that are not as though they were.

Things that are not, are nothing.

Things as though they were, are something.

Out of nothing, (Hebrew: ayin)

God spoke, and things became something (Hebrew: mashehu)

It might just be me, but mashehu doesn't look very far away from Mashiach.
