It appears that this november the 2 candidates who have a real chance of winning will be a professing christian who pushes an agenda that condones policies considered anti-christian or a mormon who will propose a more christian friendly agenda BUT comes from a religion that most of protestant christianity would consider outside of the realm of orthodoxy. I will not go on a rant myself at this time but wanted to get feedback from the christians here, american or not on the election and who you will vote for.

"Professing Christian" is usually meaningless. Especially in politics.

Ron Paul 2012

Why isn't there a "I will not vote" option?

That is my answer.

a vote for anyone other than Ron Paul is a vote for the New world Order.
someone told me i have to repent because I would vote for Ron Paul... how about this, you come out and expose yourself instead of hiding away and being a coward.

I may vote for Ron Paul, but i do not worship the man. I vote for him because he is the only candidate that is following the very government that God has put in place for this nation to the very "T"

to whoever put this "ron paul supporters need to repent", you need to seriously look yourself over and ask yourself who you are and by what authority you have to tell someone you dont know, nor do you know their walk for that matter, to repent?

if i hurt your feelings because i choose to vote for Ron Paul, too bad. get over it. that's the right of freedom of speech. you dont like that, then leave america, and go live in China, or North Korea... you'll like it there, i take it... everything run by the government, even the religion.

I'd probably go with Ron Paul. Seems to be largely against abortion, withdrawing American soldiers from foreign soil, ignoring the environmentalist crowd for the sake of utilizing our own natural resources and providing more American jobs. He's anti-tax, anti-federal funding. Imagine the tax reduction if public schools were no longer funded but privately-owned. One of my few qualms about him is that he is anti federal restriction of prostitution and drugs. He's not against state restriction of these issues. Personally, I believe that morality should be an issue that starts with God and not the government. So I even agree with him in part on those issues.

The guy's a former Libertarian who's announced himself as a Republican. That's probably due to the fact you can't get anywhere without being part of America's stagnant bipartisan ideology. Smart move in my opinion. Any other candidate just seems too little too late. I think our country needs a revolutionary to get anywhere. Too many play it too safe.

And, yes, I am one of those people who would benefit the most from socialized medicine as Democrats like to push. But we've built a leash for ourselves. It's time to loosen the collar a bit.

Heh. I live in China right now. They have some freedoms that Americans don't have, but I agree that it is annoying at times and would be ridiculously annoying to actually be a citizen of this government. So much paperwork. Can't own a gun. Probably can't find one in the whole city of Beijing. Sites on the internet are blocked. It's very obnoxious.

If I were voting today, I think I would vote for Newt Gingrich against any of the other candidates, Democrat or Republican.

I would vote for none on the poll. ^ I'm leaning towards Gingrich too but if Santorum resurges I'm switching again though.

In June 2007 candidate Barak Obama said this: “Whatever we once were, we are no longer a Christian nation”. In April 2009, President Obama on a diplomatic visit to Turkey told his Islamic audience: “We do not consider ourselves to be a Christian nation………..we consider ourselves to be a nation of citizens who are bound by ideals and a set of common values”.

Either way, I think Obama will probably still win. He already has the advantage of being in office. Plus, Obama finished the war like so many people wanted. I don't support Obama, I mean he's Chicago politician lol. I just don't think the Republicans are going to be able to win.
But I can't vote anyways :p

. . . a professing christian who pushes an agenda that condones policies considered anti-christian . . .
Where does this come from?

How is Obama a Christian pushing an agenda that condones policies considered anti-Christian?

What policies of Obama are anti-Christian?

Who "considered" his policies to be anti-Christian.
