Over the years we seen plenty of occults disturbing people, lying to people, even ruin people's lives. Since the days of the Waco occult incident. I personally not hear of any more, however I 'm not saying there hasn't been stories, or there has not been events or incidents regarding occults and false religions and seriously just plain mad people claiming that they are God or Jesus. However many of you Christians and even non Christians will know that the Bible clearly states and says about these false prophets, teachers, occults and even people who claim that they are Jesus reborn on earth.

Obviously the claims of these people who say they are Jesus is a lie, because the next time Jesus said he will come back, he will banish Satan for a thousand years. and that's one thing that these false occult leaders cant do. In Matthew 24: 4-5. says: And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray.

And if you look in your Bible you will see many more scriptures regarding these false people who will lead many astray.
Today I was watching the news. and heard that An I.T expert in Australia is claiming that he himself is Jesus reborn, and that his wife is Mary Magdalene. even that in itself sounds odd to marry your mother if it were true. Have a look at this: and see for yourself the rise of occult leaders.

Has the MANY been led astray as Jesus foretold? It is NOT some 'cult' which controls the majority of the masses, but the same religious institutions that always has.

If MANY are led astray, then start where many are at. "Christianity" and "Islam."

I think the occult has always been with us, the bible speaks of it often. Everyone simply knows there are powerful forces in the world. Christians want to learn of that force, identify it and work with it. Pagans want to control it.

I do a lot of one of one talking with people about God. Almost everyone who does not know Him tell me that they are very spiritual. It is almost as prevalent as telling how they do only good things as an excuse not to meet Christ.

Please excuse me calling God a force. I am fully aware of all God is, and being a force is only a small part of it, but it helps explain my point.

The occult has been around forever. I got involved in it when I was young, in 1965, using a Ouigi board. I got into astrology and all kinds of other weird things for about 15 years till I got saved. Strange thing was, I believed in all this supernatural hocus pocus, but I was an atheist! Or at least I acknowledged no god by myself.

Sometimes, when you first become aware of something it seems like it is everywhere. Probably this is what you are experiencing. As for the man in Australia, Rev. Moon in Korea has him beat by decades. And so do a lot of other people claiming to be Jesus. Either they are psychotic, or they are deceivers.

The sad part is that many people will be deceived by them, because they do not know the truths in the Bible. They do not know THE truth - Jesus Christ.

Claiming to be Jesus and Mary Magdalene incarnated. That's a bold claim alright. I wonder if they've been examined for mental disorders e.g. MPD...

Pretending to be Jesus... that's a pretty good gig.

I'm sure the money is rolling in.

Matthew 22:30At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.

Hosea 4:6
my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. “Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children.

Indeed. From the books and DVDs he's selling, and donations from followers. Some people are so gullible.

You have got to be kidding me. What part of "no man will see me again until every eye sees me" don't people understand?

On a brighter note, there was a cult in the Oregon High Desert where 635 people lived on a ranch, they were called the Rajneesh. They were so powerful, even the governor was involved in trying to control them. When they tried to poison the people in The Dalles Oregon through their water supply and other ways, they were finally routed.

I recently went to visit the ranch where they had lived. A church group bought it. The most wonderful work is being done there to in bring at risk teens to Christ. The huge buildings have become gyms, meeting halls, dormitories.

Not long ago a fire came through, putting it all at risk. The only building that was burned was the home where the Rajneesh had lived and plotted. Our tour guide told us there was such an evil feel to that house they didn't want to go in, and debated what they were to do with it. They felt God took care of it for them.

There is a war on with evil, but God will win.
