The stars are not literal stars.
Rev 12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:
Rev 12:2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.
This is Israel in general,which the man Christ Jesus came from the nation of Israel.
Rev 12:3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
Lucifer,7 heads,the 7 kingdoms on earth,1.Egypt 2.Assyria 3.Babylon 4.Medo-Persia 5.Greece 6.Roman Empire 7.Ten horn kingdom,the earth split in to ten sections with a leader in each section.Ten horns-the physical dominion of the beast kingdom,which comes from the 6th head,and the 4th beast of Daniel,who has the dominion until God puts them down.Crowns on heads-Satan in the spiritual realm deceiving people by way of those 7 kingdoms,which the beast is the 8th king and is of the 7 kings,or heads.
Rev 12:4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
Rev 12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.
This is the rebellion of Lucifer in which one third of the angels(stars)hopped on board with his plan to rebel against God.
Rev 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
In Revelation 13 the crowns are on the horns-Satan in the physical realm deceiving people.
Rev 18:1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.
Rev 18:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
Rev 18:24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.
This is in the future when the devils are cast to earth and Satan deceives all people that do not love God,and in Babylon was found all that were slain upon the earth,which cannot be physical Babylon,for she did not rule that long,but is Babylon in spirit for she represents the kingdom of man,so all the wicked of the world throughout history belong to her.
