I'm looking forward to seeing Jesus face to face, and I hate to say it, but really looking forward to my resurrected body. I can't even remember what it feels like to be not in pain.

Of course, looking forward to serving Jesus both here, and in the next life!

Was doing a simple thought experiment - if I were to be in heaven, I obviously would like a healthy, youthful body, but then so would everybody else ... so in heaven everybody would be young and athletic, no young children, no older statesman, no grandparents, kind of would be very monotonous.

And thinking along these lines, by that understanding, heaven should be perfect - once we say something can become imperfect, it starts becoming like earth ... so in a perfected place everything is already perfect - that would mean each day is exactly like the other, no change, the same routine over and over again, nothing to talk about as nothing changes, sounds like zombie land .

I dont think I can last there more than a few days ... what do ya think ?
I think that if that if you want to bypass heaven...

you will be afforded that opportunity.

Probably because the other Zip Code requires a truck load of burn cream and is the same old same burning indignity and for eternity.

[h=3]1 Corinthians 2:9 But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”[/h]

This side of eternity can be deceiving. Sin looks attractive, godly holiness doesn't. But in truth, it's sin that leads to death and destruction and godly holiness that brings abundant life and pure joy and peace. Read the Bible to find what Heaven really will be like, then read Randy Alcorn's study on Heaven entitled, "Heaven". You'll end up longing for the New Heaven and the New Earth. The focus, as always, is Christ, and every good thing, in this life and the next, flows from knowing Him.

I just want to be with Jesus, I don't care if it's heaven; the third heaven, heaven on earth, new earth, new heaven.....

I want to be with the One Who loves me in spite of myself :)
