Christ saved us through the cross and we receive it through
conviction, repentance, confess, and faith.
We walk in communion with Christ, reigning with us on the throne of our lives.
Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.
Rom 8:17
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
Gal 5:1
But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.
Rom 6:22
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
Col 3:23-24
The test of our lives is in our hearts do we still defend our hurts and take revenge
on others around us to build our reputation and standing, or are we reigning with
Christ, serving in love those who have needs that are before us?
If we loose possessions how does it disturb us, or have people break in and steal from
us? Is this a personal assault or merely are passing on of things that do not matter,
a gift of stewardship gone to another.
If we make a mistake, does it hurt more to get it pointed out or are we grateful at
the correction, so problems can be avoided next time?
If we walk in love with Christ and our neighbour the rest will take care of itself.
