Unsaved muslims know how to deal with this better than Christians unfortunately. They just get married, and don't spend unnecessary time with the opposite gender for "DATING" purposes. Why cant we as saved people do the same?
Maybe because we're not still living in the 7th century?

Because Disney taught that we must fall in love. After the voices of the ages redefined love as an emotional response to hormones

The reason that westerners dont have relationship success is a cocktail of satanic philosophies, imported and adopted through books and movie made by a destabilized people. See frankfort school.

How does thinking about sex not involve another person.

Do you only have a married person in mind here, cause I really see know distinction.

Agree. People think they have this biblical view when really it is a cultural view, and yes often from the Frankfurt School of non thought.

On thing I dont like about the effects of marriage, and I notice it with my girlfriends and even family members, is how a person is different in front of their spouse versus not (and it applies to both). They are different when I meet them alone, versus with their spouse. You are getting a different person. It's like you have to watch what you say in front of your spouse. Any insight into this?

When marriages are arranged, the couple may have never even met before. Is that really a better solution, to marry a total stranger, or in the case as happens in Muslim countries, to be forced to marry a man decades older than you, who already has other wives?

Did your parents teach you about the birds and the bees by showing you their parts, or by talking in general terms about what the parts are, and how they work? The subject is sex, so you would have been thinking about it, but not about another particular person.

The text under discussion is Matthew 5:28. Another contributor is claiming Jesus is only talking about married people; I contend that He is talking about all people.

Because marriage is a contract. At that time a wife was considered property.
Nice dodge. Now, please consider the questions and provide a rational, relevant response.

You have heard that it was said, ‘Do not commit adultery.’ But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. Matt 5:27-28. Jesus was referring to the 4th commandment on adultery, not fornication. Fornication did not have the death penalty. Stop mixing fornication with adultery.

I guess one would have to differentiate which meaning of the word so yes discussing basic anatomy and its function is not sin.

A typical youngster who has not been abused, agree would not be thinking of another person.

However, once a person has had sex I think this line is not so easy to draw.

Have you heard how Muslims treat women?

I have said it before and will say it again. Its best to meet someone give and recieve a full disclosure, then decide if marriage is an option. If it is an option then further relational.exploration can be engaged in via spending time together and learning all the aspects of emotional health, spiritual health, temperment, NOT sex. Ideally both would be virgins, if not for what ever reasons that history should be disclosed before moving forward. Then Get married or dont, 6 to 9 months is enough courtship time.

Again, a dodge. I can see you don’t want to deal with the implications of your error.

Read Verse 27 again, that is what Jesus was referring to.

Splitting hairs! The principal is applicable to all sin. Entertaining sin in the mind is commiting it in the heart which is the well spring of action.

They just get married.....
Frequently to 4 women (even in the West) and all they need do to get rid of a wife is say "I divorce you"
They can also make temporary marriage contracts in order to have sex.

Never, hold Islam up as a worthy example. We can learn nothing beneficial from that vile antichrist religion.

It is not splitting hairs. Did you know there was no punishment for fornication in the Old Testament. You only had to marry the woman.

Some might consider that a punishment indeed.

...that's a joke, folks.
