Jesus said,since iniquity shall abound,the love of many shall wax cold.
Ever since Adam and Eve sinned the world has been heading towards the beast kingdom.
That is because that is the direction the world is going,so they will get worse in selfishness,arrogance,and self exaltation.
There is a lot for people to exalt themselves with today,concerning money,material things,the new age movement,and their false interpretation of Christianity,that is about harnessing nature,and a number of other physical,and mental things,people can do to exalt themselves,that has not been available before to this degree,especially with the internet,and how they can reach more people,resulting in more money heaped to themselves,and popularity,and for plain ole' saying what you want on the internet.
As long as society does not have anything to grasp to exalt themselves,or it is to a very low degree,people will like each other,and get along,for the rich will be so few in number,and there is not enough people to be able to grasp anything to exalt themselves to a high degree,that they will not be mad at society,and will view people as basically caring towards each other.
When the 1960's hit with its technical advances,for technology was advancing quite good then,they could reach out to a greater number of people having something to grasp on to,and with the spiritual mumbo jumbo,and the counterculture movement,that was basically selfish,for it was do your own thing,have your own way,be your own boss,it caused division instead of peace and harmony,and their rebellion against authority,another bad idea in the eyes of God.
And away we go,for they started having more to grasp to exalt themselves,and caused more of a division between people,to where people started looking more for their own concern,and exalting themselves,and less about other people,which they will be lovers of their own selves,and without natural affection,highly selfish,and highly arrogant.
The ball is only going to pick up steam,and there is no reverting it,for the beast kingdom will happen,and they will get more selfish,and arrogant,and self exalting,for that is the direction they are going,and the more they exalt themselves,the more they do not like each other,which causes them to exalt themselves more,the more they do not like each other,which causes them to exalt themselves even more,which the more they will not like each other,and it will keep going like that until the beast kingdom,when the transgressors are come to the full,and will accept a kingdom based on no personal God,the occult,evolution,nature worship,witchcraft,that honor the God of forces,the evolutionary process.
Iniquity is selfishness,and arrogance,and self exaltation,so as time goes on,the worse they will get,the more they will not like each other,which iniquity is a lack of love,for love works no ill towards their neighbor;therefore love is the fulfilling of the law,but they will lack love towards each other more as time goes on,because of their selfishness,arrogance,and self exaltation,that got worse as time went on,and then as it goes on for so long,like practically everybody jumps on the band wagon,with the attitude that people basically care about themselves,so you do not care about me,I do not care about you,and they get more violent towards each other as time goes on,and trust is not there like it used to be,because people are dogs that only care about themselves.
They point their fingers at other people,with the attitude,you do not care about me,so I do not care about you,but they are acting the same way as the people they point their finger at,for they did not start all this self exalting attitude,its been going on for some time.
Pro 30:11 There is a generation that curseth their father, and doth not bless their mother.
Pro 30:12 There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.
Pro 30:13 There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up.
Pro 30:14 There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men.
God told us the attitude of the last generation before Jesus comes back,that will be an attitude that will lead them to the beast kingdom,that will be so obsessed with money,that they will not care about the poor,and needy.
Rev 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
Rev 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
Rev 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
Rev 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked.
This attitude of material things,and money,even affected some people that claim to be with Christ,for the children are our future,and as time passes they are being taught less and less morals,as the moral slips,and the world goes towards the beast kingdom,as they get more and more caught up in the flesh like never before.
1Ti 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
1Ti 4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
1Ti 4:3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
1Ti 4:4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
1Ti 4:5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
Like I said the children are our future,and they will become so self exalting,that many will depart from the faith,and accept an interpretation of the Bible,based on the occult,and witchcraft,that exalts people,and as time goes on,people will increase,and God will decrease,in the eyes of the world.
2Ti 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
2Ti 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
2Ti 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
That interpretation will become so popular as people exalt themselves more and more,that the world will not even want to hear the truth that has been preached for 1000's of years,but they will want to hear it according to their own lusts,going by fables,which this is not where they are caught up in material things,and money,and things like that,for those are not fables,but reality,although they are wrong,but fables are the imaginations of people.
The new age movement with its interpretation of the Bible based on the occult,and harnessing the power of nature,which they will heap teachers to themselves,having itching ears,for there are many teachers,that can have a different mixture of beliefs,and religions,but it is all valid,for whatever path you want to take for spiritual enlightenment.
Since iniquity shall abound,the love of many will wax cold,because when people do not like each other,they will exalt themselves above each other,and become very self exalting,for there is no more,hey,there is sweet Suzy,she's such a wonderful woman,and hey,there's Joe,I like ole' Joe,he's a swell guy,but now they have other things to say about them,and do not care about people's feelings like they used to care about people.
Too much to grasp to exalt,and to be selfish,and arrogant,and too much to enjoy in the fleshy pleasures department,that things are going to spin out of control.
