As I stated these were specific miracles performed by God.........not the creatures.

There is an interesting, albeit long, Article about all of this that I will link. If anyone is interested, it has some good information within it.

Excerpt:

Man alone was created “in the image and likeness of God” (Genesis 1:26-27)—something that may not be said of animals. Walker therefore asked: “If the putative parallels either do not exist or are insignificant before God, what then is the critical essence of man that distinguishes him from all of creation, and what are the ramifications of this distinction? The key is found in Genesis 1:26-28, 2:18-25, and 9:5-7; it is that only man is created in the image of God” (1991, 5[2]:22, emp. added). Gary Anderson addressed this same point when he wrote:
Man’s concepts of spiritual values, his recognition of morals and his universal acknowledgement that he is responsible for his own behavior set him far apart from the animal world. That is to say, they have no immortal soul, as the following point documents. The spirit of man returns to God who gave it when one dies (Eccl. 12:7). Such is not said of the animal! Adam is called the son of God in Luke 3:38, obviously by creation. What animal is called the son of God or offspring of God? (1989, p. 76, emp. added).
Nowhere does God’s Word indicate that animals were created in God’s image. As Philip Hughes commented:

Apologetics Press - Do Animals Have Souls?
Did the animals that God preformed the miracles through OBEY God or not? Did they hear His voice and do what He commanded? And how DID THEY KNOW THE CREATORS VOICE?

Where did I say that animals were created in the image of God?

I didn't say you did........just adding context to the conversation about animals in heaven........... :)

Did the animals do what God willed them to do? Yes. Were they cognizant that it was God that was working through them? We do not know that. There is no way to know that.

Here's another consideration............ :)

So far it appears everyone is speaking of "heaven" as in where God resides, His Throne.......but there are those who believe in the New Earth, where man will live for however long it is. Now, which would seem more likely?

1) Creatures would be on the New Earth
2) Creatures would be in the heaven where God resides

Just thoughts to consider............ :)

But where will our home be in the end? :)

Will the meek inherit heaven or earth? :)

The crazy part is I can picture this in my mind,we get there and and all of sudden I see my little furry friend,he comes up and starts talking,
"Hey it's good to see you again,I missed you"
"We do have a lot to catch up on"
"By the way we really need to have a very long talk, you remember that time I tried to tell you....."

Oh great now my cat is rebuking me.

:) Which is exactly why I'm not TOO THRILLED over the prospect............. :)

(there's a couple of cats running around somewhere that I don't really want to meet again......I mean, WHO KNEW they didn't really have 9 lives?)

(just joking)

Lacking an eternal spirit is what separates animals from humans.

Animals, therefore, do not live on after physical death, only humans have this capability.

We had to have our dog put down due to being old and illness...do all dogs go to heaven? We were in the room with him when he was put to sleep and it was so sad and was just wondering if God created dogs to be man's best friend, do they go to heaven, too?
Animals were created by God for man's use. There will be no need of animals in heaven, other than the spiritual ones as in the horse Christ rides.
I find it extremely sad that so many "Christians" think that in heaven they will have all the chocolate, beer, gold they want as well as 'man's best friend'. THAT is NOT what heaven is!! Heaven is a SPIRITUAL REALM!! It is different realm of existence and we will be WITH GOD, WORSHIPING HIM AND DOING HIS WILL. We will not be hungry, lonely, sad or afraid for all of those things (and others) are not conditions of Heaven and fellowship with Him. We will not remember family or friends that were not saved at the time of their death because that would bring sadness and grief is not allowed in Heaven which is a place of joy, love and peace. Animals do not have souls. They cannot make a choice of salvation. So the answer to OP is "no".

Maggie is right... I don't see any animals in 'heaven'. However, on earth during the millennium, and on the new heaven and earth, they will be there. Heaven has never been our final destination. It's just a transitory place for us.

Thank you for your Christian compassion. You did not support anything besides your opinion without scripture. We do not know, but it sounds like you all have it figured out and probably are not a loving pet owner.

How about two? One fluorescent Orange and the other bright blue? :)
K...........but will they clash with the color of your pets? ............. I'm thinking it would be wiser to select, oh, I dunno, maybe Crimson and white?
