This thread is about knowing if you are pleasing the lord and how to do so. I read some of these verses and it made me smile so here we Go.
what you can do to please God
Isaiah43:7,21:Bring to me all the people who are mine, whom I made for my glory, whom I formed and made. the people I made will sing songs to praise me.

John4:23-24;The time is coming when the true worshipers will worship the father in spirit and truth, and that time is already here. you see, the father too is actively seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.

Hebrews 13;15-16; So through Jesus let us always offer to God our sacrifice of praise, coming from the lips that speak his name. Do not forget to do good to others and share with them, because such sacrifices is pleasing to God.

Psalm145;21-I will praise the lord. Let everyone praise his holy name forever.
.

Psalm 109:30- I will thank the lord very much, I will praise him in front of my people

Psalm 47:1 clap your hands all you people. Shout to God with Joy.

Psalm 147:11 The lord is pleased with those who respect him, with those who trust his love.

1John 3:22 And God gives us what we ask for because we obey God's commands and do what pleases him.

1 Peter 3;3-4 It is not fancy hair, gold, jewerly or fine clothes that should make you beautiful. No your beauty should come from within you- the beauty of a gentle quiet spirit that will never be destroyed and is very precious to God.
