Imagine being able to praise the Lord for both the good and the bad......Now that is Christian maturity!

Having faith that good will come from even the bad, God uses the things meant to destroy us to make us stronger. Glory to God

Praise Praise Praise. Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. ...Psalm 150

For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all gods. 1st Chronicles 16:25

Glory and praise to our Lord for all precious things He has done for us without us even asking...God doesn't always give us what we want, but He always gives us what we need...how merciful, loving and benevolent He is :D.

Thankyou Lord that you loved me before the beginning to time, Amen

Thank you for the blessing you have been today, and for your love expressed
through the cross, that accepts me as I am and shows me where I need to go
to find fellowship with you my Lord,

Halleluyah, In Jesus's Name, Amen

Praise him, praise him.
Praise him in the morning,
Praise him in the noontime.
Praise him, praise him,
Praise him when the sun goes down.

Love him, love him.
Love him in the morning,
Love him in the noontime.
Love him, love him,
Love him when the sun goes down.

Serve Him, Serve Him,
Serve Him in the morning,
Serve Him in the noontime.
Serve Him, Serve Him,
Serve Him when the sun goes down.

Jesus, Jesus,
Jesus in the morning,
Jesus in the noontime.
Jesus, Jesus,
Jesus when the sun goes down.

(there was some dispute earlier about what to praise God for. One away around this is just to post bible verses.)

this is the first occurrence of the word praise in the 'God's Word' translation

GENESIS 9:26 Praise the LORD, the God of Shem! Canaan will be his slave.

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. Psalm 28:7

I know right, Jesus is such a great guy. Every day I thank him for what he has done to me and all of us. I can't wait to meet him in Heaven one day :)

...I would put a Bible quote here, but I have to read the Bible more first...

Praise God for the serenity of acceptance. Find serenity through acceptance!

You can not change the past!

You can not change your inheritance, your background, where you came from, your beginnings. Thats a given in life, so make the most of it; make the best of it.

You can't change the people around you. They are who they are, and you are who you are.

You can't change the nature of the world. For the most part, the world will go on being what it is-a lot of what is wonderful and beautiful, but also a lot of that is ugly, cruel, evil, disturbing, and downright sinful. Now of course you can make a positive contribution. You can join hands with others seeking human progress and amelioration. And, of course, it should trouble you that bad things, evil things, unjust things, go on in the world. But, in any event don't allow your own inner state to be at the mercy of the state of the world.

you can't change who you are! You can't change the person you essentially are. This goes beyond heritage and inheritance to what and where you are today.

You can't change the love and power of God! That's constant. that's steady. That's forever! Make your peace with that. Let the love and the power of God flow freely. And fully. And powerfully, through your life.
