When you pray in an evening on a work day...How long do you pray for? and how long do you spend reading the bible?

While not always successful; I try to live my entire day in dialogue with the Lord. Rather than set aside a particular time; as decisions, or things I am thankful for, or things I wrestle with come to mind; I try to bring them to the Lord immediately. I handle family prayer the same way.

Before I became involved with CC, I read or studied the Bible 10-14 hrs per day. Now about 5 or 6 hours per day.

I am the same as MacR, I pray and talk to God all day he is my best friend and honestly if I go without a day of speaking with him I feel unfulfilled as if the day was wasted lol.

No matter how bad your day has been time spent with God is never wasted

I slept late for work today not late late but enough to mean i had to rush...with this poor start to the morning I neglected to pray and be thankful to God for the day.
this i found had some impact on my day I was irritable grumpy and all over the place with no real construction to my morning after i had made my first phone call and dealt with business I then took time to pray I felt the chains removed so to speak the day got a lot easier. I felt the freedom to enjoy and accept what was put before me all day.

I pray everyday, at different times of day. I pray when ever I feel it is necessary, and do so several times throughout the day. You don't need to bow or fowled your hands when you pray. Prayer is simply communication with God, So you can do it at anytime. When walking, driving, working.... By doing so you should find yourself having a closer walk with your creator.
