Faith. belief. hope. Religion. TRUTH. All of these words are powerful, and sometimes they coincide with each other. However they are clearly all different. One person may "believe" in santa, another may "believe" in God. Truth is the catalyst. Anything without truth, simply put is false. If we are walking down a long road and you have gone over the hill to our right and seen the water that we are all dying for, obviously you tell us. But what if there were others in the group telling people there was no water there at all, in fact it is in the opposite direction? what do you do? do you concede that everyone has the right to their own belief? or do you emphatically press the issue that no, in fact there is water on the other side of the hill, this is not an opinion it is a fact and if you were to deny it there would be no truth in you? now what if this is the very same issue, but the water is now Jesus Christ? do we "push" the truth on the non believer who is being led astray by fallacy? or do we concede to let them be mislead. Again I am not referring to someone who "believes" in Jesus, I am referring to those of us who "know" and "have seen"

After considering similar things i came to this : " if God does not force, then who am i to go against someones freewill?"

Share, encourage but never force.

lol Loveme1, I wouldn't put my hands on someone to force them to the water. But I sure will jump up and down pulling out my hair yelling at the top of my lungs with tears in my eyes.

you could go to the lake and bring some water back to show them.

John 7:38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”

We are not to intrude our faith unto another. If a man has faith, he does well, but keep it to yourself. That's the problem we have now.

First of all we should not push our faith on others. But we should share our faith with those who do not believe and trust God with the results. We should not keep it to ourselves like a secret. God bless.

Romans 14:22-23 [SUP]22 [/SUP]Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.
[SUP]23 [/SUP]And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

Matthew 28:18-20 [SUP]18 [/SUP]And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. [SUP]19 [/SUP]Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: [SUP]20 [/SUP]Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

I don't see where that is saying to keep my faith to myself. I read all around chapter 14 for context and I do not see at all where it is addressing communicating or not communicating to others. Rather it appears to be speaking more about keeping the strength of our faith that is within us to guide our actions.

Then let us see. What does it mean to TEACH all nations or baptizing?

that is speaking about judging our brethren whether they are wicked or good and separating company if they are wicked.

[SUP]16 [/SUP]For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel! 1 Corinthians 9

[h=3]Matthew 5:14-16[/h]New King James Version (NKJV)

[SUP]14 [/SUP]“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. [SUP]15 [/SUP]Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. [SUP]16[/SUP]Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

I don't look at it like pushing anything on anybody, but rather letting the truth direct their own path, to the foot of the cross. More than anything getting folks to read the Gospel as early as possible, more than any other single thing, and letting Jesus do the rest if it is His will.
With openers like reaching Muslims through such matter of fact realities like the history of Mecca.

This same question is faced when men in our Coast Guard watch little boats head out to a stormy ocean. The CG knows they are firting with death, just as we know that people living in sin without Christ are. When they are warned, the people in the little boats often say that the Coast Guard has no right to stop them.
