Question from an atheist

It's insanity to think that we are living in a big interactive simulated reality world.

For one thing, God doesn't directly create anyone since Adam and Eve. Each person who is born, other than Jesus Christ, was born from a union of two different people, each contributing chromosomes to the resulting person.

What happens if one interactive person has sex with a 'real' person? What is the result of such a union? A half real, half interactive person? What is his salvation status?

Additionally, how can an interactive being be tormented? Eternal punishment involves torment.

This would also imply that God is a deceiver who is using deception to accomplish his purpose here on earth.

It is sad that wonky theology like this shows up on a thread addressing someone who is a seeker, but not unexpected.

I understood what you were saying... and you did say it was all God's design and all for His purpose. Many people say things like life is a game, but that does not in any way suggest there are no consequences for our actions. The actions are real, just as the consequences are real, and games do teach such principles. There are so many different ways of looking at it, of harmonizing with other modes of thinking. Abstracting can help isolate immutable specifics.

What many atheists do is focus on the physical realities and ignore or pooh pooh the spiritual realities. In fact, many atheists seem incapable of acknowledging that there are spiritual realities. They have been blinded by the god of this world.

Clément, please do not think I am talking about you. I have spoken to many atheists over the years, and was once a non-believer myself, for most of my life, actually. But many atheists think believers simply have an imaginary friend as if we are delusional to believe in God when they have not experienced Him, despite the testimony of millions throughout the ages.

It's insanity to think that we're not in a simulated existence. The universe is made up of atoms, atoms are made up of empty space and electrical charges... there is nothing physical about the universe other than our perception.

You're kidding me I hope... saying God didn't create anyone since Adam and Eve. Every one of us are a creation of God. When a man and woman come together they combine INFORMATION... the book that God wrote, not the book the man and the woman wrote! The man and the woman have no power to create life, all they are is carriers of the book that God wrote.

Yes, they will say we evolved from bacteria and claim they base their beliefs on facts but the fact is there is absolutely no evidence to suggest that we evolved from anything other than earlier human species; transitional fossils simply do not exist. Cosmologists will point to the CRB as if it were some proof of origin when it is all conjecture, supported by inventions of their imagination. Funnily enough, this is what atheists claim theists do: simply imagine that God exists. To do so they deny the testimony of millions of people. Pride is, after all, at the root of disbelief.

The French have been giving Jesus Christ the one finger salute for years and the bourgeoisie atmosphere of that country is presently not conducive to establishing a relationship with God in Christ.
