reading buddha teachings good just wondering

Here is my Question to you, Do you believe that Jesus Christ came here to earth, went to the cross, died for you, in love for you, was raised back to life on the third day for you?
This is what God the creator of all is looking at one's heart, to fill it with new life thought of God's love for not only you yet the whole world.
Now God is not flesh, even though he came here to earth for a short while in flesh, through his Son Jesus that was born of a virgin woman, known as Mary. Since Christ came here to earth and did what he did for not only you, which is redeemed the whole world back to God the Father through him, in order to:
Colossians 1:22 But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation—
So once you see you are freed by Christ's finished work at the cross, the next thing one needs is life, and this is given by God to the one's that believe God, standing in Faith that God did it all for them. First the death is our death to ourselves, and then the life resurrected Christ is our resurrected new life, a heart transplant, by God from God to you a free gift to you.

There are many wise sayings in the Buddha religion, just as there are in many of the other ones as well.
So stand firm in belief of who you are inj God a child of the living God if you have chosen belief in God, if not it is your free choice to choose, all in love to you

A complete waste of time. Any time spent reading this MBFM could be much better used reading the Word of God.

I actually found it interesting, almost like an Asian version of the bible before Jesus came....Idk man I kinda think he pretty kewl teaching about living against sin and showing each other love to even put our life on the line. Buddha might not be 100% right but he sounds quite moral....

Bryan, there is an interest or there is not, if the interest is not there when read anything, then how will one really learn, except superficially
It seems to me God is drawing you to know God, and maybe you have already accepted God as Supreme. Read the word and ask God to reveal it to you God's type of love as in 1 Cor.13:4-13
Anyway all in love to you, and ask here anything you want and I know all will answer to the best of what they know, and there will seem to be incongruities just as how it looks in the Bible itself, and is why we need God to teach us the truth od whatever is heard, said or read.

Notice the last verse there, if you believe you are sealed by God, notice verse 6 you are accepted, been freely given, God just love you, and verse 7 you are forgiven, reconciled, redeemed, made right with God, the day you first believed

Yes I have found gold nuggets and fake gold in every religion out there on the earth, and I found all was vanity, unless I kept my Faith that God period just loves me and wants me to love my neighbor as God loved me and loves, loved me by what
God did for me at the cross of Christ, his Son the only one that walked the earth perfectly, and offers that to all who believe, that they walk in God's type of love, by trusting God to be their teacher, after listening hearing and seeing mankind, do whatever they do. We sift all that is said to asking God to separate the gold nuggets from the fools gold, and I know what is has taught me, and has set me free.

well it takes a lot of searching to find the gold as was done in the gold rush days, coming to California, a lot of sacrifices made, even when did not ant to.

So here it is God just love you Bryan, no matter where you go or what you do, God loves you.

Hi Bryan, stay on the narrow path with Jesus Christ as your Savior. As everyone else has said already "read the bible" because it is full of Godly wisdom for your life. And because you are already a Christian you have God's Holy Spirit in you to lead you and guide you into all truth.

John 14:25
But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

I live in a country where the population is 90 percent Buddhist. My Thai wife is now a Christian praise God, but she had been a devoted Buddhist since her child hood. My advice to you again is read and study the Bible. Take small portions of scripture at first and just read them through and let the Holy Spirit illuminate Gods word to you. For example try reading through 1st John a few times its a wonderful book to read and not to difficult. When I first became a Christian I had a very big hunger and thirst for Gods word and I would read through the Book of Proverbs, The Book of Psalms, Jeremiah, Isaiah and you can read through the wonderful Book of Jonah in a very short time also.

God bless you Bryan, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life." John 14:6 - and these word of Jesus are so very very true. There is no other teacher greater than Jesus of Nazareth.

Around about 3.5 months or so if i remember correctly.

i thank GOD for the strength and guidance.

sometimes i would come over so tired i could not continue other times i would want to keep going.

Somethings were understood by an example... i would be cooking and the answer would come to me.


There was lots of " ah i see" and wow amazing moments :) and i have to add they continue to this day.
