Jesus want you to be Bible students, experts, and will give yo divine power to do so'using a version of the Bible I like a lot, the aramaic english New Testament, it makes it very clear

Our first lesson comes from Jesus in Hebrews chapter 5

HEBREWS 5
YOU NEED TO STUDY THE WORD OF GOD!

Negligence in the knowledge thereof is reproved
11 Concerning whom we have much to say,
but it is difficult to explain,
since you have become dull in your hearing.

12 By now you should be teachers
because you have been a long time in training;
but even now
you need to be taught again
"the beginning fundamentals"
of the words of Elohim (God),

and you are still in need of milk,
and not of solid food; *

13 For everyone partaking of milk
is without experience
in the Word of righteousness,
for he is a babe.

14 But strong meat
is for those full grown,
having exercised the faculties
through habit, f
or discernment of both good and bad .

And here is 2 Timothy we are told a bit more

Timothy is exhorted again
to constancy and perseverance,
and to do the duty of a faithful servant of the Lord
in dividing the word aright,
and staying profane and vain babblings

1 Then my child,
you be empowered by grace in Messiah Yahshua (Jesus).

2 And what things you heard from me
through many witnesses,
commit these things to faithful men,
such as will be competent also to teach others.

3 Then you suffer hardship as a good soldier of Yahshua (Jesus) Messiah.

4 No one serving as a soldier
entangles himself with the affairs of this life,
so that he might please the one having enlisted him.

5 And also if anyone competes,
he is not crowned unless he competes lawfully. (according to Gods Word)

So if we study and discuss, use the word of God.

6 It is right for the laboring farmer
to partake first of the fruits.

7 Consider what I say,
for the Almighty will give you understanding in all things.

8 Remember Yahshua (Jesus) Messiah,
having been raised from the dead, of the seed of David,
according to my good news,
in which I suffer ill as an evildoer,
(I'm in jail for teaching the Bible)
but the Word of Elohim has not been bound
(by this jail cell I am in now).

10 Because of this, I endure all things
on account of the elect(people who love the Bible),
that they also may obtain salvation

in Messiah Yahshua (Jesus), with everlasting glory.

11 This is a true saying: for if we died with Him (in the Bible),
we also shall live with Him; 12 if we endure, we shall also reign with Him; if we deny Him, that One will deny us; 13 if we believe not in Him (in heaven),
that One remains faithful; He is not able to deny Himself.

14 You should keep these things in remembrance
as a testimony
before our Master
that the faithful should not argue over words
in which there is no profit,

but which are destruction
to those who listen to them.

(arguing kills christians, that is why debates were invented by satan)

15 And study
to present yourself approved to Elohim (God),
study study study
a workman unashamed (by ignorance of the Bible),
rightly dividing the Word of Truth.
(Using all the texts on every topic)

16 But shun
profane, empty babblings,
(I believe this, I believe that,
it doesn't matter what you believe,
it matters what is the real truth in the word of God)

for they will go on to more unrighteousness,
Of Hymenaeus and Philetus
(who always were Posturing, speculating and philosophizing on everything)

17 and their word (not from the Bible) will eat like a canker,
of whom are Hymenaeus and Philetus,

18 who missed the mark
concerning the truth,
saying the resurrection already has come,
and overturn the faith of some.

The foundation (Bible) of the Lord is sure

19 However, the foundation of Elohim(God) stands firm,
having this seal,
YAHWEH knew the ones being His;
also, Let everyone naming the name of Messiah
depart from unrighteousness (STOP SINNING)
(Stop breaking the Commandments for
sin is the transgression of the law). *

* (Seems like "Once saved always saved
was an ongoing problem with the apostates
even in Paul's time." )

20 But in a great house (God's church)
not only are there vessels of gold and silver,
but also of wood and of earth,
and some to honor and some to dishonor.

21 Then if anyone purifies himself
(sanctifies and puts away sin)
from these,
he will be a vessel to honor,
having been sanctified
and made useful
to the Master,

having been prepared
to every good work.
He is taught whereof to beware,
and what to follow after,
and in what manner
the servant of the Lord
ought to behave himself

22 But flee youthful lusts (stop it)
and pursue righteousness,
faith, love, peace,
with the ones calling (praying) on our Master
out of a pure heart.

23 Keep away from foolish disputes
which do not educate,

knowing that they generate quarrels.
(Trolls are satans invention to kill)

24 But a servant of Elohim
ought not to quarrel,
but to be gentle towards all,

apt at teaching,
patient,
25 so that he may discipline gently
those who argue against him,
if perhaps Elohim may give them repentance
for them to know the truth,
26 and come to themselves
and be saved from the trap of Satan
by whom they have been drawn
to satan's will to argue and resist the Bible.

THe Aramaic version is english translated directly from the letter Paul wrote in aramaic
and has not been translated several languages back and forth so it doesn't loose anything in the translation

so it is nice and clear
but you can compare king james and it is really close and says the same thing

But this is exactly how Paul wrote it. no greek pagan monks rewriting it

Jesus tells us:
to be constant in the faith of Christ,
who is the true Son of God,
by the eyewitness of the apostles beholding his majesty,
and by the testimony of the Father, and the prophets

16 For not following fables which had been cleverly devised,
but having become eyewitnesses of the majesty of Yahshua (Jesus) messiah,
we made known to you the power and coming of our master.

17 For He received from YAHWEH the father honor and glory
when there came such a voice to him from the excellent and magnificent glory,
"This is my Son, the beloved, in whom I am well pleased * ,"

18 even we heard this voice being borne out of heaven,
being with Him in the holy mountain,

19 and we have the more established word of prophecy,
in which you do well to look to it for guidance,
as you look to a lamp shining in a dark place,
until day dawns and the sun will shine in your hearts;

20 knowing this first, that not every prophecy of scripture
is made clear in its own book1 ; *

21 for prophecy did not come by the will of man,
but holy men of YAHWEH (God)
spoke when they were inspired by the holy spirit.
