It represents strength... a bow is used to represent strength many times in the "OT"

Habakkuk 3:8-10,8 Shall יהוה burn against the rivers? Is Your displeasure against the rivers, Is Your wrath against the sea, That You ride on Your horses, Your chariots of deliverance?"9 You uncover Your bow, The oaths of the rod of the Word. Selah. You cut through the earth with rivers."10 The mountains shall see You, they tremble. The storm of water shall pass over. The deep shall give forth its voice, It shall lift up its hands."

Job 29:18-20,18 Then I thought I would die in my nest, and increase my days as the sand,"19 my root reaching out to the waters, and dew lying all night on my branch,"20 my esteem fresh within me, and my bow renewed in my hand."
That would mean war. Strength but strength to fight.
A bow is used to shoot arrows. In Rev 6 it has been used figuratively but in that context it doesn't mean strength.

I would go even a bit farther and say:

they bringforth powers... one would have to look at military and economic history...
If we look at military and economic history from Charlemenge to Bush and Obama, they all had meetings with the Pope before they started wars...

Revelation 13:11-13,11 And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon."12 And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed."13 And he does great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from the heaven on the earth before men."

I don't know that that matters considering Jesus holds the 7 stars in His hands.😀
Is not like we have stars that could be literally hand held so that phrase understandable and everyone that reads will know it is metaphorical.

If we have two bows, one normally hand held and the other not normally hand held, we would be overthinking if we thought of the latter from a phrase that speaks of a tool being held in a hand.

Either way it’s not a literal bow, literal horse or literal crown in my opinion.

I personally believe it’s a bow that shoots arrows and it’s the spiritual battle bow taken from Judah when Christ came the first time since that verse in Revelation comes from Zechariah 9 in my opinion.

The veil was lifted 2000 years ago and these things have happened, have been happening and continue to happen everyday. There's not going to be any literal white horse or a man or a government or a religious sect- antichrist is an ideology, lies, anything that is not truth being preached right from the pulpits of these churches/mosques/synagogues/pagan shrines and atheist's gatherings, that people believe.

I want you to tell me, when did the statement below (from the angel) become effective:

Rev 14:
13 Then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.

“Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.”
When I spoke of the veil being lifted I was referring to us standing with the saints in our new bodies viewing the events of the tribulation taking place.

It is ok if you believe that, but i have a very different view. We are viewing the tribulation right now.

The scroll of Revelation, is a covenant divorce decree against Old covenant Israel: God is divorcing His wife because they rejected His Son. When you leave the context you leave the reality of any proper interpretation and you end up with this Sci_fy garage. i e Left behind.

Now (YOU) must interpret all of these symbols and this makes us the great interpreters of God's Word. How special!!! Stay within the context, don't be afraid listen to the Holy Spirit you cannot disconnect this from the old way in Adam.

Listen if you want to continue in this vain way of thinking be my guest, i really don't care. But for all of you in here, no matter what you believe there is a book which can be a great help to you all. By David Chilton called the Days of Vengeance. A line by line, verse by verse exposition of Revelation, over 700 pages. Yes, i guarantee you he doesn't believe like you, but he will show you every place in God's Word where John got the insperiation from the Holy Spirit to write this document.

Just an observation but if all Christians disagree about the interpretation of Revelation (that is the way it appears short of walking into a church where they are told how and what to believe) then the obvious conclusion is that everyone is wrong! unless maybe one person is right?
It appears everyone thinks they are that one person. Interesting!

Does anyone know why the church has been telling me for years that the white horseman is the anti-Christ?
It just doesn't look like it to me!
Personally, I see the four horsemen of the Apocalypse representing the four beasts in Daniel 7, who in turn represent the leading four different types of socio-economic systems on earth.

The first white horse I see representing first world socioeconomic nations like the G-7.
The second red horse I see representing socialist type socioeconomic systems.
The third black horse I see representing third world nations socioeconomic systems.
The fourth pale (or speckled) horse I see representing Middle East socioeconomic systems who seem to have a little bit of the first three socioeconomic systems.

Really?

Land & property mortgages are recorded during the time of Ruth. Boaz, the Kinsman Redeemer (a shadow of Christ) had to pay the price of redemption to get Naomi's inheritance back.

When a mortgage was signed, a summary (name etc) of the contract was written on the outside. It was then rolled up & sealed. Only the owner of the property was legally authorized to break the seals affixed to the scroll. That had all the details enclosed.

Adam is given Dominion to the whole earth & everything in it.

Gen 1:28 God said unto them, Be fruitful, multiply, replenish the earth, subdue it: have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the fowl of the air, & over every living thing that moveth upon the earth
(NOTE: Adam loses dominion when he rebells/sins against God)

Who gained doninion:

2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
(NOTE: Who is the god < (sm g) of this world?)

Here he is:
Matthew 4:8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
(NOTE The devil/satan offers Jesus. ALL the KINGDOMS of the WORLD. He must have owned them to offer them. Also see Lk 4)

Christ's FINISHED Sin Redemptive payment, not only redeems the believer. It redeemed dominion of the whole world.

Romans 8:22 We know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

Rev 5:1 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.
(NOTE: The Father on the Throne has a book/scroll with 7 seals)

3 An Strong angel tells John: No man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.

4 John weeps

5 And one of the elders (in heaven) saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda (God the Son/JESUS CHRIST), the Root of David, hath prevailed (WON back the scroll/mortgage/title deed) to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb (JESUS CHRIST/God the Son as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
(NOTE: This verse also speaks to the silly oneness doctrine you accused me of promoting. In that thread I said/wrote after Christ FINISHED his Redemptive work & sat down "Quote: HE DIDN'T SIT DOWN NEXT TO HIMSELF. Here in Rev 5:7 HE DOESN'T TAKE THE BOOK/SCROLL FROM HIS OWN HAND)

I have a copy of this book. I obtained it in PDF format free on the internet along with two others by David Chilton Paradise Restored
and The Great Tribulation. I took on the Mammoth task of printing copies of all three books!! I am now wading through them. I don't
entirely agree with his position but he did an outstanding job in showing how Revelation is linked to OT passages. David Chilton is
no longer with us, having died of heart failure in 1997.

You are right check out Zechariah 1 verses 8-12. Most of Revelation can be understood by having knowledge of the OT because
passages in Revelation and the OT read together give greater understanding of what Revelation is about.
