***no*** what he actually did was***to highlight his error***there is no salvation outside of knowing it is through***and***from***Christ***so Billy Graham***is incorrect***and that gospel***is false***and you are endorsing it***
I can see it now...Jesus comes up to someone in heaven and that person asks, "who are You?"

That is hyper-Calvinist doctrine.

I did not interpret this transcript to make him look bad. I bolded his heresies. That was pure mysticism. Even if they know Him or not. Show me one verse where ppl who were saved w/o knowing Christ.

***amen*** ;) :p

People look at others through the lens of hyper-synergism and see them as good (usually someone in Africa) so they must be on their way to heaven. Then they preach Jesus is the only way to heaven. Then they tell us someone who doesn't know Him is saved because "they can tell" even if they don't know or believe in Jesus.

I'd walk out of a church that taught this, because that isn't a church and that isn't biblical.

They need to remember this statement in light of Scripture that none are good: "You may not be outwardly bad, and yet not inwardly good." - Thomas Watson

Yes, hyper-synergism. It leads to the same false mysticism as hyper-calvinism -- people being saved "somewhere out there" without Christ or knowing Him. Not surprised though, false teaching are rampant today and are taking on New Age thought and Eastern mysticism instead of being sound doctrine from Scripture.

I am bracing myself for Romans 1 to be thrown in here...

FTR - I call it hyper-synergism because if their error were true, there is no need to preach the Gospel. People are going to get saved anyhow, "mystically."

Then there is the other fallacy, they are only going to hell for rejecting Christ. LOL!!! Oh man, tell the missionaries that, and bring them all home before they tell others about Christ and damn them to hell. Right now, they're all going to heaven and are safe.

Right. Nothing in Romans 1 is soteriological, it is only showing men are without excuse and know there is a Creator. But, the mysticism will pour in "God gives them a little light, and if they believe that light, then He gives them more light!"

Pure. Eastern. Mysticism.

Perhaps your "seers" need major adjustment as you are majorly lacking in Biblical discernment. Any person who cannot see the error of his statement is low hanging fruit for ecumenism and a universal false religion.

Care to show us all where in Scripture one is on their way to heaven not knowing Christ, and contrary to John 14:6?
Billy Graham's entire ministry was preaching that it is only by the shed blood of Jesus dying on the cross for our sins that makes salvation possible. In my opinion, this is spiritually sound. Personally, I would not rely on conspiracy videos to portray an accurate representation of who a person is and what they are about.

Faith comes by hearing the message, and the message concerning the Christ.[Romans 10:17]

God chose(there goes God choosing again) the foolishness of preaching to save those who believe.[1 Cor. 1:21]

When they hear the message of THEIR salvation, and after they believed, then are they sealed with the Spirit.[Eph. 1:13]

All of these display that believing in the Christ comes from hearing the gospel through the mouths of ppl, not something mystical.

Read that transcript I posted betwixt he and Dr. Schuller. He said something way different than the above.

Yes, you defend his false gospel.

There's no conspiracy in that video or when it comes straight from the horse's mouth as they say. He said it and he's preached a false message of hyper-synergism and mysticism. Obviously you believe his message that some are saved without Christ or knowing him. That is the real conspiracy here.

If his "entire" ministry were solid, then he would not have preached that error. Thus, he has not kept the faith, and has compromised the true Gospel.

Here's the video of which I copied and pasted that transcript. It's only 2:41 long.

I see what they're saying as I was once where they're at now. If God did die for everyone w/o exception as the man Christ, then He MUST take up the slack where missionaries can't get to. How else could ppl who never heard the gospel have an opportunity to be saved?

But there's no bible to support this mysticism.

One cannot then be Sola Scriptura, or, in plain words, one then cannot be a person who gets all of their teaching of the faith only from the Bible.

Actually, I have no idea what hyper-synergism and mysticism is. All I know is that what Billy Graham said on the video is that the only way to get to heaven is by confessing your sins to Jesus and that He died on the cross for your sins. His whole ministry was based on this only possible way to have salvation.

I'm not sure what you meant by "my seers" not that it's important or relevant and don't really care what you believe my biblical discernment to be one way or another.

This is a snippet of what Mr. Graham said...

"I think everybody that loves Christ, or knows Christ, whether they're conscious of it or not, they're members of the Body of Christ."

Don't know why it's this big.

He even said "they may not even know the name but f Jesus."

Thats Clifford the Big Red Flag in the quoted quote of Mr. Graham.

Again, my apologies for the large font.

This seems biblical to me. If you love Christ and He loves you are you not then part of the Body of Christ?

Even if they don't know who Jesus is?

How can you call upon Him whom you have not heard? How can you believe in Him of whom you have not heard? [Romans 10:14]

Faith comes hearing the message concerning the Christ.[Romans 10:17]

Ppl can't believe in the Christ if they know nothing of His existence.

Who are those who love Him? Those who are born of Him. How are we born[bgotten] of Him? By His word, the incorruptible seed, by the word of God.[1 Peter 1:23]
