Genesis 8 21 is a good case for original sin. skinski, while you speak a lot of truth, we have a sin nature. wrong on that on.

Joh 8:39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
Excellent verse. Abraham could not be the father of these Jews for they lacked the faithful obedient works Abraham had.

In verse 42 God could not be their Father either for they did not love Christ. Christ connected keeping His commands to loving Him Jn 14:15. God can only be the Father of those that faithfully obey Christ's commands.
