Ha, hahaha....hahahahahahahaha.

You're right, I am easy to fool.

I can't believe you tricked me into having an honest cosmological discussion with you, no matter how twisted and flawed your views and arguments were.

Knowing what I know now about you, I would have just chuckled at you and moved on, rather than waste my time presenting a decent argument to someone who still believes in the Copernican system.

I don't believe in the Copernican system, I know the biblical cosmology to be true.

Right. The Copernican system is a geocentric model of the universe.

You sure do know a lot about cosmology.

I'm glad to see that the cosmology section of the Bible is serving you well.

By the way: Where'd you pick up that swiss-army Bible? Mine is missing the Stephen Hawking and Albert Einstein additions.

Dear me, no, Copernicus had a heliocentric model.

You sure do know a lot about cosmology.
Clearly more than you, you should pay attention, you might learn something.

I'm glad to see that the cosmology section of the Bible is serving you well.
Perfectly.

How unfortunate, hopefully the good Lord opens your eyes and leads you out of your ignorance.

Biblical cosmology?

...I know I'm crazy, but...since when did the bible offer answers for anything other than spirituality?

Because God is going to descend from heaven and teach me first hand the intricate inner workings of our universe, right?

Don't you maybe think he wants us to figure out a few things on our own? Or are you that scared of the unknown?

That's what He did for a poor blind sinner like myself.

Don't you maybe think he wants us to figure out a few things on our own? Or are you that scared of the unknown?
I know more than you do kid about the depths of darkness and the evil of the deceitful spirits that dwell in the outer unknown.

Yeah, you sure do.

You know my entire life story, what I have and haven't seen.

I'm not superstitious enough, or afraid enough to believe in 'deceitful spirits' in the 'outer unknown.' I'd rather take a stroll through it and see what's there, if only to expand my own horizons.

Do not fear the things you do not understand. You demonize too much.

Dispense with the insults for a moment and think, hm? Imagine yourself in the late 1930s, early 1940s. You live in Berlin and are hiding some Jews in your house. The Gestapo comes banging on your door and asks if you are hiding Jews.

What do you do? Do you lie and save the lives of the Jews in your home? Or do you tell the truth and sign their death warrant?
^ Just in case you forgot the question, Cup.

I think your question is inflammatory and not in the context of the nature of the thread.

Inflammatory? How could it possibly be inflammatory? I'm just trying to see if you consider lying always evil and wicked in every situation, or if lying could possibly be the best course of action in certain scenarios for you.

You don't consider lying to be wrong?
