Ok, I think people need to start to grow up. I know God encourages us to be like a child, but there is being a child, and acting like a child specially on CC, some people think they can be clever, by derailing, or defuing, or causing trouble and fight and argue on CC, a word to those people, time to grow up. thats my mind is speaking.

It sounds like you needed an alternator. You are fortunate to have a loving family for a little support now and then.

When I grew up in Edmonton, I could never understand how a cold, snowy winter's day could be the last day of winter.

Now that I have moved south and west, I am pretty excited that it is spring! I just have to get my husband to put in the garden beds, and get working on planting the veggies!

Northern Ontario Canada here ... still a little brrrrrrr although the days are getting somewhat warmer and that dreadful snow is a' going!

it's possible, but it's also possible the battery is completely shot and won't accept a recharge. there are ways to test it yourself, but if you know nothing about cars or electricity, best thing IMO is to get the car to autozone or advance auto or o'reilly etc. -- they will hook up a machine to the car for free that can tell you if it's the alternator or battery.
you can try putting the battery from another car into yours, and putting your battery into a car you know works fine. if your battery is bad, the other car won't be able to recharge it either (it'll also die after you jump it off). if your alternator is bad, your car will use up the charge in the 'good' battery too - your headlights will keep getting dimmer and the car will eventually die.

We all need to act like a youngen' now and then ... if you take life to seriously, well you are missing out on fun fun fun! As long as it's clean and not hurting anyone, then why not? There are way too many problems as it is in this sin filled world, so it's like a breath of fresh air to log onto CC and let all of the stresses of the world go away. I love to let loose and laugh and I'm sure so many others do as well.

and please, if you don't tow trailers or regularly haul furniture or firewood, NOT a massive 4x4 truck.

.. also unless you are regularly driving around with 5 passengers, you DO NOT need an SUV.

us smaller-car drivers would like to be able to see around you in traffic :)

Blinker fluid is low. Car won't start of the blinker fluid is low....safety feature.
