Frank! Hey, how have you been doing?

Hello PC, doing better than I have been. How are you?, fine I hope.
Winter has finally arrived here, in the low teens at night, the high
during the day, in the mid 30's, so kinda chilly.

I'm okay! Everything is awesome now. It has been chilly here, too (I'm in VA) and we're supposed to get a fair amount of snow soon.

Glad to hear you're doing better. :)

That's great to hear. Yea, I've being watching the news, going to be a lot
of snow and ice. We had some sleet yesterday, along with 35-40 mph
winds, made it feel like 20 below. They say we're going to get some ice,
no snow though.
Just make sure you have what you need for a few days, that way, you won't
have to go out in that mess. I'll be staying home, period, these old country
roads are hard to drive on as it is, much less with snow/ice on them.

Hello Frank! Nice to see you :)

Hello Magenta, nice to hear from you also. Yea, the wind has been really
bad since last Friday here. We had some sleet and very high winds yesterday.
We started sending the cows to market on Monday, bad timing. We worked
16 hours a day to load 10 trucks,@ 52- 53 cows per truck. Most of the time,
we can load 10 trucks in 10 hours, just not this time. But, all is good, we
shipped 1,462 cows in 3 days. My crew has the day off, maybe Friday also.
They need to rest up some after this week, and the bad weather coming.

Get what you need also so you don't have to drive in heavy rains and high winds.
I know my wife don't like to drive in either one, but heavy rain is more of a problem
for her than high winds.

Good afternoon MM, I hope school is going well for you.
Is this your last year ? I know that it's CM's last year,
I guess she'll be happy as a lark, as you will be to, if
it's your last year.
Naw, it's my first year of grad school. :) So far so good! I only finished my second week yesterday. I have class two days a week and that's it!

good afternoon frank

Hello Kody, I hope all is well on your end. How's your dr visits going?
I hope all is working out the way you and the drs hope for.
You still have snow up your way, or has it all melted?
You still need to get mailmandans mail truck, can't remember what
you were going to do with it though. It had something to do with snow.
Oh, and good afternoon to you.

Everything seems to be going well here. How are you doing? We still have a little snow, but it mostly melted. We still need to fill his mail truck with snow.

It's nice learning the ICD-10 because I think of it more as being a puzzle or a challenge to find the correct code for each diagnosis, and so far its not too bad. I will also be learning the HCPCS and the CPT manuals in the coming weeks

at my office, since i work for a chiropractor, we use the same group of codes, so the transition wasn't difficult. i imagine it was a little tougher at a medical doctor's office since they deal with all kinds of stuff.

or maybe it wasn't difficult at all lol.

Melita, if I remember correctly, don't you also now have to record where the injury took place?

How would you have to code it if my accident took place near the refrigerator...

As you know the ICD -10 is so different than the ICD -9 and I remember sitting getting my nails done a couple weekends ago talking to a nurse about the difference between the two and the computer system that helps assist them in finding the correct code isn't right half the time so she was saying that was the most frustrating thing with the upgrade to the ICD -10
