This can't possibly count for all of the abuse that goes on, only reported cases in the united states according to this survey. It also does not account for all of the ways society warps kids, not even close.
The clock is not moving nearly fast enough, if you want my opinion, and I'm not talking about Vic's love life, either. He's doing absolutely right for the reasons listed above.
Now. You go read Exodus 22:21-24 and tell me about shaking dust off.
For some reason I seriously doubt that Jesus would have sat there and watched a lot of the stuff that goes on today without making a stand, either.
For that matter, I don't think Vic cares if he gets hurt or killed. There's a bigger cause here, and he's one of those kids.
