A couple of weeks ago, my Dad and I decided to splurge and we bought some rock lobster tails for supper. They were tough as boot leather and not fit to eat. I saved the meat and the shells, and I am trying to make stock from the shells and I pulsed the meat through a food processor. Somehow, I am trying to make an edible, tasty chowder so I can get some use out of the $50 worth of lobster tail meat. Wish me luck.

Learn from Scripture:

Matthew 16:4) A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.

Luke 16)29)
Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
30 .) And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
31
.) And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

Colossians 1:23)
If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
24 .) Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:
25 .) Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;
26 .) Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
27 .) To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Matthew 25:35
For
I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me
Matthew 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

I'm one of those people that believes in practical application in scripture... It sounds a lot like Hurricane Harvey to me... I'm only saying!... Brother Glen:)

Tentative change of plans, depending on the path of Irma and the strength there is a possibly that we may indeed be getting out of Dodge, so says the wife. If I decide to hunker down I will be doing it alone. What a bummer.

move-on, TruthTalk, you both need to find 'greener pastures',
writings on the wall'...choices, they just never stop, and should
never stop us from growin-up into Jesus Christ and His ways...

a true Christian's Walk is just that, a continual Walk, and then
pausing only when we are led to, and then we are asked to always
move onward, forward, towards The Light of our Holy Creator...
Thanks for the advice I will keep it in mind
God bless

this is more than 'advice', this is two voices who have played the 'game', and came out alive,
after we crashed...it's a personal 'share', from our hearts to yours...

Will be batting down the hatches tomorrow...Umbrella on table put up and moving smaller projectiles into the shed so a stiff wind won't throw them through a window things like that. The patio furniture is so old may pull it apart and toss it ahead of the storm. Good news new furniture for next summer.

Hurricanes are so much fun to get ready for. Will also check across the street and see how much a new cat carrier is if there are any left in case we do have to pack up the puddy's and travel will be taking back roads to get away from the main mess if have to go heading north if need be. Stiff upper winds and all. Still watching and praying that it will take a turn to the north sooner rather than later.
