I love on occasions searching for oddities you know! I love having unique things sometimes.... :)
It's so much fun, too! We are not millionaires; although we are not poor either. When we can stretch our dollars, even better!

Who is your favorite author for mysteries? Mysteries are my favorite.....
I recommend Harry Bingham's novel, "Talking to the Dead" about a Welsh cop/investigator named Fiona Griffiths. It is fantastic! And Bingham has written a few others about Griffiths and I looked for them at the library but they were unavailable. But I couldn't put the book down, it has a terrific storyline and edge-of-your-seat suspense.

Butterfly, I just saw your prayer request regarding your doctors appt. Those who know me here, know that I am a hypochondriac and worry about that stuff too! But now that I asked Jesus to come into my heart and have repented of my sins ... I have felt so much more at peace and am overjoyed that my new CC friends have prayed for me over this. I recently had bloodwork done that I worried about as usual .. but all turned out fine! Then after having bad thoughts about going to the dentist this past Thursday, I went but with peace in my heart knowing that Jesus is with me always and not even a cavity! If u need to talk .. I am here always! xo
Thank you so much roxxyroller xoxo

We did a big party and feed in the city's main park today. It was called "Spring Fling", several bands, and I think we fed about 300.
Ooooh, that sounds like fun!! I love outdoor music and get-togethers like that. :)

After reading Bingham's book, I couldn't find anything that looked nearly as interesting. So I'll look into Grafton.

Not a problem girl. I know EXACTLY how you feel and it's not fun! It's that stupid devil putting these silly worries in our minds and lately when I have felt that way I have simply prayed: I command in the mighty name of Jesus that the devil gets out of my thoughts and life right now! I live for Jesus now so you can take a long walk off a short dock! Try it! It works believe it or not! Lol

For an absolutely wonderful science read, please check out Bill Bryson's, "A Short History of Nearly Everything." He covers, just like it says, nearly everything. I truly enjoyed that book.

SO COOL!

a bit of bad news before the good ... i just gooweblled searched on the web for > the kingdom of god is peace joy and righteousness
and
it
somewhat shocked me how many websites 'pretended' to be "GOOD NEWS"....

anyhow, the GOOD NEWS is the PEACE, joy and righteousness is FREE with salvation in YAHSHUA(JESUS)... and many people don't know this --- either haven't expected it, haven't experienced it, don't realize that it is very much one part with salvation, freely given in JESUS...
or
(worse?) (testable?) (i don't know) ---- people who were told they are saved, but don't have peace, have been lied to , with the 'natural' result that they don't have PEACE, joy, nor righteousness ; again, all freely given in christ jesus with salvation - GOD'S PROMISE, GOD'S KINGDOM, not to just a few in the kingdom.

and the peace JESUS gives doesn't depend on good circumstances or good health or good anything as far as the temporal is concerned..... no, not at all.

the peace JESUS gives is peace not like the world gives (as JESUS says HIMSELF) and cannot be taken away by demons, devils, priests, thieves, moths, rust, weather, finances, or any such thing....

so when someone is desperate enough for suicide or cutting or hurting themselves or others,
they may and should at once call on GOD for HIS healing salvation in JESUS along with ALL that GOD'S WORD says and promises. the joy and peace and righteousness HE promises, and HE gives, and HE sees that it is always accomplished for those who trust and rely on HIM, for all who call on HIM IN TRUTH,
GOD never fails. no, not ever. HE brings HIS WORD to pass, just as HE HAS SAID.

GOD is FAITHFUL, and always watches over HIS WORD to perform it -- HE even honors HIS WORD MORE than his own name !!! HIS WORD IS SURE, perfect, complete, final, true, and able to accomplish all that HE SAYS, as it is written , so it is.

I hope He, someday, will tell me well.

So who would like to fly to Canada tonight and dye some of my greys that are so beautifully popping through? I got church tomorrow so the greys will have to find their own little hiding spots til after the service.
