But Saul and the people spared Agag and the best of the sheep, the oxen, the fatlings, the lambs, and all that was good, and were unwilling to utterly destroy them. But everything despised and worthless, that they utterly destroyed.
Now the word of the Lord came to Samuel, saying, “I greatly regret that I have set up Saul as king, for he has turned back from following Me, and has not performed My commandments.”
And Saul said to Samuel, “But I have obeyed the voice of the Lord, and gone on the mission on which the Lord sent me, and brought back Agag king of Amalek; I have utterly destroyed the Amalekites. But the people took of the plunder, sheep and oxen, the best of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice to the Lord your God in Gilgal.”

“Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices,
As in obeying the voice of the Lord?
Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice,
And to heed than the fat of rams.
For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft,
And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.
Because you have rejected the word of the Lord,
He also has rejected you from being king.”

Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, “The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously”?
But He gives more grace. Therefore He says:
“God resists the proud,
But gives grace to the humble.”

Until you are fully mature in Christ and His teachings the demonic world will seek to lead you astray.
You may find some moments of peace in the presence of someone filled with the HOLY spirit like Saul found peace with David and his songs.
However, Saul's heart still saught the world and engaged in witchcraft. Those who practice witchraft open their lives to being surrounded by devils and possessed people.
Looking for spiritual truths beyond the Bible when you don't fully understand the Bible is a way for you to be easily deceived and lead astray.
God proctects His children even though ten thousand around them fall to the arrows of the enemy.

Some really good words and knowledge i applaud your wisdom.
Its still not right tho in my eyes i cant except that God would allow child murder and attempted murder on me i want carry on i just reallly cant and that is exactly what has a happend in my life a child was murdered at the hands of a demon possessed person with more than one demon doing the dirty work and its in the hands of the police now.
And i know in my heart that demons where at forfront on this one its not right and i have never been so upset in all my life that it happend and has been happening since day one when satan TEMPTED eve no capital lette for this nasty piece of work as the deadly sins are high on this creeps agenda.
How much longer must people suffer im not scared of death i tried to take my own life over this and fell so badly that i couldnt pick my self up with depression and ive search for answers to find that even are holy lord sends harmfull spirits what ever that may be .
i think i could do with a proper translation from the acient jewish scrolls for 1 samuel 16:15-16 and may you all be on your guard and you really sohould warn your children not to believe everything your friends tells you as it could be a demon in deguise. Truth and im not going luny ive proved it,,,, its in the bible to . saul had a demon visit him deguised as samuel.
So you all need to be on Guard and pray because the devil prowls round like a lion waiting to see who he can devour.
