We all know God is NOT the 'author of confusion.'

So, would 'symbolism,' you know, like where it says, Christ will come from the sky in 1 Thessalonians 5, be confusion ??????

Symbolism for this example verse would be, instead of 'Christ returning,' it is saying that this is JUST the judgment time that the Son of Man comes on mankind . Really

????????

Confusion ?????????????????

What about other places of Scripture?
Confusion??

Hey, why not can all the drama and illiteral, illogical thought, and, just BELIEVE what Scripture says ? Of course, there is some speaking in Scripture that is imagery, but, that's pretty simple to decipher from the literal words said by Matthew, Mark, Luke, Isaiah, Samuel, Genesis writer (Moses?), Acts, I Peter (who wrote that? ;) ?? ;) )

Weeel, OK, i'm a bit hypo-critical of this 'symbolism' word as relationary to Scripture. It makes NO sense, nooone. Hey, what do you know, it's nooon, well, it is in my town, anyway. Makes sense, doesn't it :)

Name for me some other symbolism Scripture, please, so I can, as He leads me (The Lord leads), make things lucid :)

Here is the verse for you, from , oh, I was using symbolism, by the way, 1 Thessalonians 5 REALLY meant 1 Thessalonians 4 ;)

But, yeah, here the verse of reference from my OP:

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18Therefore encourage one another with these words.

So, really, the Lord won't REALLY come down from heaven, it's just SYMBOLISM ?????

Isn't Scripture complicated enough in it's pure literal essense , try reading Ezekiel, LOL, to have to go and make it ALL symbolism, or, just the parts you WANT to make symbolism symbolism ??

Confusing sounding, isn't it ????????

Actually, OK, already, good grief, I'm being literal here, tooo, it was a typo :)
