I was interested in seeing in 3D modelling what the temple looked like.

The models are massive and I went, nope, too big.
The temple was 30 ft wide and 30 ft high, 90ft long.

So not a massive building.

Now Jesus cleared the money changers out of the gentiles courtyard,
so it must not have been too huge.

I looked at some models in Jesus's time and they are huge.
There is though a more realistic size which would fit in with an area 30ft by 90ft
beside the temple which was being used.

Scale does make a difference if one guy is taking on thousands of people over
a large area, they will not clear it.

I had never particularly thought about this before, until this problem struck me.

Locating Solomon's Temple by Norma Robertson

The above theory seems to fit better to the scale of Gods design and the wealth
etc of the nation of Israel at the time of Jesus.

Funny timing.

I made a 3D model of the Lavers yesterday...

I'm working on the Tabernacle in the Wilderness right now.

Maybe someday I'll get to Solomon's Temple.
