an excellent question! if someone really doesn't want to hear the word of God, I think they probably won't...

but for those who want to hear,

from Romans, "The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God."

and in Galatians, we see the works of the flesh and the fruit of the spirit... I think this is a great general test to see if you're walking by the spirit... is your flesh going down and your fruit going up?
So let's say a person exhibits all the fruits of the spirit, love, joy, peace etc but they believe in holy laughter, and being drunk in the spirit etc. because the "holy spirit" led them this way. Are they right, are they truly being led by the Holy Spirit?

Heres another for ya KJV1611

The Greek word, "anthropos" (Strongs number 444) means human being and includes both male and female. However, this word is translated "man" 586 times in the KJV. The Greek language does have a word that means "man/male"; however the writers of the scriptures used the word, "anthropos" to include both sexes. This bad translation of "anthropos" has influenced our thinking about the role of women in God’s Church.
Oh Man,

Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

This exactly what is meant by anthropos to include male or female... IT is written

imo, it's a leading process... no one ever arrives at the destination until after death, I think...

"The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit."

ya know, say also... I'd rather be around the person you described than someone that has "all the right doctrine" and loads of works of the flesh to go along with it...
