there was a discussion in the bible study chat room about parables in the book of mark, chapter 4. i think of these like the posters that used to be sold that were 3-d pictures. they didn't really look like anything and you had to look at them for a bit or in a certain way before you could see the image.

in mark 4 v 11-13 this is a great example of the kingdom of God. we see these posters everyday yet we do not see the picture. if everyone could see the picture they would turn and asked to be forgiven. imagine being in a gallery where no one could see the pictures so obviously displayed. you might even seem crazy to people as you try to describe to them what they cannot see.

for the parable of the sower it is along the same lines of a painter and pictures. in our lives we are all painters and we draw many pictures. not every picture will have the same effect on a person. but some pictures will have a great effect on a lot of people. some will be greatly changed after seeing the picture and others will not. those that accept what they see will go on to make pictures for others to see and possible contribute to change in those that follow after.

the parable of the lamp. we display the pictures so that others may see the change in us.

the parable of the mustard seed. there are a lot of pictures out there. some more noticeable than others. as time goes by they grow into pieces of a puzzle that form a larger picture.

now i know its not perfect or in line what other people understand and teach. it is if anything just another picture out there that might become a piece in someones puzzle that will help them get closer to the bigger picture. only Jesus can help you put your puzzle together. we just try and add helpful pieces.

I enjoyed that dewell, very much, that is the way I see the Word, in picture form, maybe because I'm and artist, or maybe because Our God is A Painter.

I think God knows that a picture is worth a thousand words, but your right not all see the picture, and if you tell someone that you see this or that, they do think you are seeing things, or your crazy.

For example, In The Flood of Noah, I have an article that I wrote on what I saw, and have tried to share it but hardly any seen it. There are many, many, pictures in Scripture, but they all paint the same, Image, and that is His Son, just in many different colors, and different lighting.
