There is a uk Christian website. There are a couple of people on it that I would completely agree with doctrinally. I believe their theology to be excellant and I have been blessed by it, but theology is one thing, without love and compassion it is simply making a noise. They spend all their time on this website finding fault with the RC religion.
Now personally I do not agree with much of what the RC believes and stands for, but on this Christian website the only results of these types of discussions are animosity and people not speaking to each other in love.
Actually the person on that website that shows the most kindness and loving attitude to others is a Catholic. If people malign his denomination he never replies unkindly. He alweays offers encouraging support to those who need it, and when he is personally asttacked he always replies with kindness. I do not attend a specific church, and as I have said I could not agree with so much RC doctrine, but it is by a persons love for others that they show the most Christlike of attitudes, and his testimony of that almost made me visit an RC church.
I used to think if only you could put one persons head knowledge of the Bible with another persons fruit you would make a mighty Christian from the two
Of course if people feel led of God to have debates such as this who is anyone to say they should not, but in my experiance no-one changes their opinion and a lot of bad feeling is left afterwards
it is not unloving to want to share the true gospel with a catholic my family are from rome and were devout catholics and i shared the new testament with them and they came to the lord..and are really gratefull i had the care to do it ..the catholic churches teachings dont agree with the new testament can i be straight here and just speak from the heart.only one gospel saves and the vatican deos not preach the gospel well you might say they believe in jesus thats enough well so do mormons dont follow that road jesus said the way is narrow that leads to life.. now brother we need to share it in a loving way your right .but theres no way we can use grace as a way to compromise sharing the gospel to catholics,, not trying to offend you but i believe they must here the gospel. i dont agree that sharing the gospel brings bad experiences it deosnt ive led many many catholics to the lord by comparing the new testament to the teachings of the roman catholic church,,,,, people can be harsh in their presentation i agree there but we have to give them the truth and not use grace as a cop out ..we would do it to a jehovah witness but not a catholic a jehovah witness will pray to jesus but we believe they need converting well if the gospel of rome is not the way to heaven why wont christains treat catholics the same way ,,,,alan

Can you work on the simple punctuation thing too please?

Start the first letter of your sentence with a CAP letter, end the sentence in a period.

Many of your posts are just ONE long paragraph without simple punctuation as suggested above.

If you feel you're speaking what God has on your heart, it seems like you'd do the least minimum thing so folks can at least understand it easily.

MMM interesting topic. im not an expert but i did listen to Walter Veiths series entitled "Total Onslaught" recently. I watched all 37 dvd's (it took weeks haha!) and must say that his evidence, presentation and interpretation of these subjects and end time prophecy in general made the Pentacostal preachers of the end times over the last 20 yrs look like people that have rushed in with undiscerning assumptions and no idea what thye are talking about.. hahah quite embarrassing. Im not a Seventh Day Adventist, and a lot of other stuff on the DVDs i didnt agree with, but his end time stuff concerning Daniels visions and Revelation are VERY convincing and clear. He makes a case that puts previous endtime interpretations to shame. To me, a person that values reason and logic, as well as spiritual discernment and the witness of the Holy Spirit, I think to really make a decisio about what we believe we really need to hear all sides of the story and not prejudge or write something off just because it comes from a source that we dont regard very highly.. Jesus wasnt received very well, nor were the prophets.. And thats the same i believe in our day, if we are not careful we may miss the day of our visitation jus because He doesnt come in a form that we think He should. I am quite versed in the christian interpretations of eschatology and tis Walter Veith series was very new to me - i had no bias, and i was impressed. Whether he is right or not remains to be seen, BUT i recommend it be viewed, even if just to educate yourself properly on both sides of the argument before making solid decisions. And i feel that this series would be the best resource for this view, and would be the best presentationto view when making up your mind - You do want the evidence put to you by someone that doesnt fully understand it themselves otherwise u make a decision based on their inadequacies.
But yeah all that aside, seems we are entering times that should be judged soberly, the time could be at hand and the final things could be about to play out. I want to be as genuinely equiped as possible. May we all be blessed ;)
