On a suggestion from a friend of mine I started watching this series.

So...I have thoughts but wanted to hear yours on the subject.

What do you think of the series?

I'm wary of The Chosen simply because the world likes and supports it too much (God has never been all that popular with the world to begin with). I'm wondering why Satan isn't opposing it too.

There was another member here who said that Greeks turned Christianity into a philosophy and Americans turned it into a business but i think he is wrong because i think it's mainly the Protestants who have turned Christianity into a philosophy if you try to approach it on right/wrong basis (which you shouldn't).

A few Protestants don't like miracles, anything physical or real in relation to being grateful to God or anything that they think doesn't fit their theology.
It's very strange how to think of God on a purely thought-based or philosophical level while you find yourself in a material level. Very strange. Basically anything is an idol in the material level so you have to think of God only on a thought-based level while ignoring that God has created you in a physical world. And this rule applies to anything except the Bible.
To an outside observer you might seem like you're worshipping a book, just like Protestants think that Catholics are worshipping an icon.
While this isn't true in either camp, sometimes it is true. Some Catholics are confused and do worship icons while some Protestants do worship a Book and ignore that they live in a physical world.

Anyway, just my ramblings for the day. :)
God bless you all and Happy Eastern.
