Actually, it is like paradise today comparied to what is coming very, very soon.
well if we go back and see that Christians were covered in pitch and set on fire to light the arena, yes it will get worse, but the trend to hate Christians is already in effect and the fact that we elected Obama, shows that the people are ready to destroy the church, i mean the true church, social clubs are okay. Lets go years back to Columbine, where the shooter put a gun to 16 year old girls head and said deny Christ and she said no I will not and he put a bullet in her head.

The Homo thing is taking over, though they are less than 2% of our population, the nation has turned and is calling evil good and good evil, just as the bible said. I don't think we can fix it, there is a point to where God says enough is enough. America on it's current path will be destroyed or God is not righteous by destroying Sodom and Gomorrah.

Just look at Mannessah and then his son Ahaz. Ahaz was a good king and led them back to God. but God sid to Ahaz I will remove you, for the sins of Mannesah are to great and must be judged. Hello America.

[h=1]1 Kings 22:45-47[/h]46 And the remnant of the sodomites, which remained in the days of his father Asa, he took out of the land.

I am post tribulation/pre-wrath resurrection/change......used to believe imminent return...don't anymore.....
We agree on most things. I suggested that as a possibility not something I'm committed to. The Lord will bring us to Himself in His time; and our being wrong about it won't effect our destination.

I am speaking of US Christians TODAY.
Down through history, Christians have suffered greatly, but most, not all, but most US Christians have never suffered persecution. What some call persecution is nothing more than inconvinence.
BUT, the stage is set and the players are in place to begin persecution of US Chirstians very, very soon.
When it begins you will not be able to own a business, have a job, go shopping, or publicly meet to worship God.
You had better make plans now how you will deal with this.

Brother, I don't read anything like that in the Word. Jesus would never tell us to worry or be afraid. And He certainly didn't tell us to make plans. Why would He? He has everything under control and takes care of our every need.

Matthew 6:25 For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?…

Matthew 6: 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Luke 22:35 And Jesus said to them, "When I sent you out without money belt and bag and sandals, you did not lack anything, did you?" They said, "No, nothing."

Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

Amen!
The nearness of the End brings encouragement, not fear or worry.
Persecution is to us a blessing, and martyrdom a crown.

I said nothing about fear or worry. I do not worry about what is coming, nor do I fear.
But many are not preparied spirtually for what is coming.
Many believe that they will not have to suffer tribulation and persecution, that they will be raptured out before it begans.
Many seem to think that they are more rightious than their brothers in the Middle East who are now suffering persecution.
They say "God would never let His Church go through tribulation".
What about those in the last 2000 years,or in the last year, week, day that have lost their life.
Why do Christians in the US think they are to rightious to suffer?

Her name is Cassie Bernall and I admire her immensely. She showed more selfless courage in her right pinky, and all of it to the glory of God, than today's godless, unpatriotic metrosexuals show in their entire mind, body and spirit. I look forward to rejoicing with her at the Lord's Table for all eternity. God bless her!

Regarding the OP, maybe I'm wrong but I'm prepared to draw the blood of any and all persons who physically attempt to refrain me from glorifying Jesus Christ.

Happy Easter, Brethren.

What do you mean coming? its already here. The are using the hate thing to dismiss or demonize Christians.
As I said, that's not persecution. That's simple annoyance.

When the nail the doors of your church shut, when they forbid you to worship or pray, when they try to take your Bible to burn it, when they arrest you, beat you, put you death ...

... that's persecution! And it is coming soon.

I believe the christian persecution will world wide.
I believe so, too, and it will be at the hands of the false religion, which the Bible teaches will require all to bow down and worship the false god.

What "faith" today has those same demands? Everyone here knows the answer.

The verses you quoted in Matthew 6 and Philippians are more about building faith and not coveting no?

Also did you not see the very next verse in Luke that you quoted above here?

Luke 22:35,36
35And he said to them, “When I sent you out with no moneybag or knapsack or sandals, did you lack anything?” They said, “Nothing.” 36He said to them, “But now let the one who has a moneybag take it, and likewise a knapsack. And let the one who has no sword sell his cloak and buy one.

2 Timothy 3:12,13
12Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, 13while evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.

The OP is absolutely correct.

"And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed." Genesis 12:3

Numbers 24:5-9
[SUP]5 [/SUP]How goodly are thy tents, O Jacob, and thy tabernacles, O Israel!
[SUP]6 [/SUP]As the valleys are they spread forth, as gardens by the river's side, as the trees of lign aloes which the Lord hath planted, and as cedar trees beside the waters.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]He shall pour the water out of his buckets, and his seed shall be in many waters, and his king shall be higher than Agag, and his kingdom shall be exalted.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]God brought him forth out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn: he shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]He couched, he lay down as a lion, and as a great lion: who shall stir him up? Blessed is he that blesseth thee, and cursed is he that curseth thee.

I have always said that Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39 cannot come to pass until the United States fails to support Israel. By preferring Iran over Israel such as Balak told Balaam to do will become a curse on the United States. Those chapters of prophecy are not all or only a thing of the past.

"But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication." Revelation 2:14

This doctrine is legislated through a liberal agenda.

Draw close to the Lord and His goodness. Do not fear. For God did not give us the Spirit of fear. I believe I could be Raptured at any moment. But if it is not yet my time, it will not deter me in having to die for my faith if that is what the Lord requires of me. However, do not be worried. True heroes for Christ will shine their brightest in their darkest hour. So while I may or may not be here for the upcoming hard times here in America, I am happy to be with the Lord either way. For Paul echoes similar words to this when he said,

"For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you. And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith; That your rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus Christ for me by my coming to you again."

So stay focused on God's love and in loving others.

Make your paths straight with the Lord (If they are crooked).

Amen to that.....it really is arrogant to know the history of the Lord's churches and saints down through history and to think that we are so righteous and super religious enough that we wont have to suffer any type of persecution.......

How did God mark of time? The evening and the morning was the first DAY
The resurrection/change takes place at the LAST DAY
At the sounding of the 7th trump of Revelation TIME SHALL BE NO MORE

post tribulation/pre-wrath resurrection/change..........
