This is a very good thread i give you props buddy
I read the bible but I cant read a part of it i am not lead to read. Some ppl force themselves to read it and others read the bible from genesis to revelations as for me I study and read what is put on my heart. Psalms is a personal favorite of mine and speaks to me the most because of how alike David and I are, I notice I will pray or talk to God about something only to find david said the exact same thing. and sometimes in my prayers I quote the scriptures from psalms without meaning to or evenknowing i did until later I recall that very scripture.
And Psalms gives me an amazing view into the heart of God and of the heart of david and what can i say David and I are kindred spirits.
As for how I hear God I hear him in many ways, he is not shy in speaking to me in various ways. He often tiems will speak throguh music, he will speak to me by putting a divine image in my mind he speaks to me when i am praying and the holy spirit is literally blazing inside me and someh9ow he speaks through me I say things and believe things I normally couldnt or wouldnt.
But my favorite way is though the heart, he and i have a language of our own in which we do not say words but out hearts do. Our hearts have eyes ears and lips that can see hear and say what our bodies parts cannot. I hear and see my heart and his heart constantly speaking to each other day or night in good or bad. Often times i can hear them telling each other how they adore each other i can feel and hear their cries of deep love and longing for each other and they pour deep feelings of love and intimacy into each other.
I hope I am not being to honest here i know how odd it sounds and I also hope its somehow biblical as I do not want to post outside the guidelines of the thread

Like I mentioned in the OP I can't start my day anymore without prayer then study. But lately I'll be working on the house thinking of something and have to run look it up and study..then get back to the house lol. It's just so exciting tthe new things God teaches me every day through the Holy Spirit. I sure the heck couldn't do it without Him.
